<br />wood Oaks subdivision, as shown
<br />on that certain map entitled " nlap
<br />of Redwood Oaks" filed March
<br />30, 1912, in Book "8" of Maps,
<br />s page 6, San Mateo County Rec-
<br />ords, including all street inter-
<br />sections and terminations and por-
<br />tions thereof within the lines of
<br />the several streets and avenues
<br />above described, be improved as
<br />follows, towit:
<br />That the said streets and ave-
<br />0 j lines and portions thereof above
<br />described be graded for the fall
<br />width thereof and for the lengths
<br />hereinbefore mentioned and that
<br />the roadways of said streets and
<br />avenues ' and portions thereof
<br />above described be paved with
<br />a base course ofasphaltic con-
<br />crete two and one-half '(21h)
<br />Inches in -thickness and a War-
<br />renite Bitulithic wearing surface
<br />one and one-half (1%) inches in
<br />atdckness, said pavement to be
<br />laid on a three (3) inch base or
<br />eushion of broken stone.
<br />There is excepted from the
<br />above described work on Redwood
<br />Avenue, Oak Avenue, Ramona
<br />Avenue and Gordon Street a strip
<br />eighteen (18) inches in width lm-
<br />medlately adjacent to the curb
<br />lines on both sides of the last
<br />mentioned streets and avenues
<br />and portions thereof that are to
<br />Ile paved which Is reserved for
<br />concrete gutters.
<br />,There is further excepted from
<br />the above described work on Red-
<br />wood Avenue a strip eighteen (18)
<br />feet in width and across said.
<br />Redwood Avenue at an angle of
<br />35 degrees to the center line of
<br />said avenue, being reserved for
<br />the location of a timber bridge,
<br />to be constructed thereon be-
<br />tween Regent Street and Gordon
<br />Street; and also a strip eight (3)
<br />Peet in width on the southeasterly
<br />side of the pavement to be built
<br />on Redwood Avenue, extending
<br />from the northeasterly edge of
<br />said timber bridge to the north-
<br />easterly line of Gordon Street.
<br />There Is aide further excepted
<br />from the pavement to be built, on
<br />above mentioned Redwood Ave-
<br />nue all that portion of the later -
<br />section of Gordon Street south-
<br />easterly from the southeasterly
<br />line of the roadway of said Red-
<br />wood Avenue, and also a triangu-
<br />lar portion of the pavement on
<br />,outheasterly side of Redwood
<br />Avenue immediately adjacent to
<br />the. timber bridge and being eight.
<br />(81 feet in width adjacent to said
<br />timber bridge and extending forty-
<br />Mzht (48) feet northeasterly
<br />therefrom.
<br />That cement concrete combina-
<br />tion curb and flutter be construct-
<br />ed on both sides of Redwood
<br />Avenue, Ramona Avenue, Gordon
<br />Street and Oak Avenue, herein-
<br />before described to be paved the
<br />curb portion of said combination
<br />curb and gutter to be six (6)
<br />taches across the top and eleven
<br />(111 Inches deep, and the gutter
<br />portion of said combination curb
<br />and glitter to be eighteen (18)
<br />Inches wide and to be six (6)
<br />Inches thick next to the pavement

<br />feet southwesterly from the south-
<br />westerly line of Regent Street;
<br />provided, however, that cement
<br />concrete gutters eighteen (1S)

<br />thick next to the curb and six
<br />(6) inches thick next to the pave-
<br />ment be constructed immediately
<br />adjacent to the existing curb
<br />thereon; also all that' portion on
<br />the northwesterly side of Redwood
<br />Avenue from a point 450.62 feet
<br />southwesterly from the south-
<br />westerly line of Hawes Street
<br />southwesterly to a point 151,85
<br />feet southwesterly from the south-
<br />westerly line of Ramona Avenue
<br />and curb returns at Sequoia Ave-
<br />nue and the curb- return at the
<br />southwesterly corner of Regent
<br />Street at Redwood Avenue; pro-
<br />vided, however, that cement con-
<br />crete,gutters eighteen (18) inches
<br />ht width and six (6) inches thick
<br />next to the curb and six (6)
<br />Inches thick next to the pavement
<br />be constructed immediately ad-
<br />jacent to tine existing curbs
<br />thereon.
<br />Furthermore excepting that por-
<br />tion on the southeasterly side of
<br />Redwood Avenue from the south-
<br />westerly edge of bridge to be con-
<br />structer] thereon between Gordon
<br />Street and Regent Street to the
<br />southwesterly line of Gordon
<br />Street, no curb being required at
<br />the geek edge of pavement, nor
<br />at the returns on the southeaster-
<br />ly side of Redwood Avenue at
<br />Gordon Street.
<br />There is also excepted from the
<br />above described cement concrete
<br />combination curb and gutter on
<br />Oak Avenue all that portion on
<br />both sides of said Oak Avenue
<br />between the southwesterly line of
<br />Itamoua Avenue and the south-
<br />westerly line of Sequoia Avenue,
<br />and the two .curb returns on the
<br />northwesterly side of . said Oak
<br />Avenue at Ramona Avenue,, pro-
<br />vided, however, that cement con-
<br />crete gutters eighteen (18) inches
<br />In width and six (6) Inches thick
<br />next to the curb end six (6) inches
<br />thick next to the pavement be
<br />constructed imntedlatel;- adjacent
<br />to the er:)st)ng curbs thereon.
<br />There is also excepted from the
<br />combination cement concrete curb
<br />and gutter ordered herein the
<br />bridge on Redwood avenue to
<br />be constructed as herein ordered.
<br />That cement concrete curb be
<br />constructed at the following
<br />places, to -writ, said curb, to be
<br />six (6) inches" across the top
<br />and fourteen (lin inches deep:
<br />Five (51 linear feet at the
<br />southeasterly ends of the exist-
<br />ing curbs on both sides of Nor-
<br />man Street; six- (6) linear feet
<br />at the southeasterly ends of the
<br />existing curbs on both sides of
<br />Oxford Street; five (5) linear
<br />feet at the southeasterly end of
<br />the existing curb on the south-
<br />westerly side of Regent Street,
<br />and four (4) linear feet lit the
<br />southeasterly end of the existing
<br />curb on the northeasterly side of
<br />Regent Street.
<br />That the existing curb be re-
<br />moved at the following places,
<br />to -wit:

<br />Front a point on the north-
<br />westerly line of Redwood ,Avenue,
<br />commencing 151.85 feet south-
<br />westerly from the southwesterly
<br />line of Ramona Avenue to the
<br />no•Iheasterly line of Junlpero
<br />Avenue; and two (2) curb re-
<br />turns at the Intersection of Red-
<br />wood Avenue with Ramona Ave-
<br />nue; all the curb on the north-
<br />easterly site of Ramona Avenue
<br />between Redwood Avenue and
<br />Oak Avenue and the curb return
<br />'it the southeasterly corner of
<br />Ramona Avenue and Oak Avenue.
<br />Phot the existing curb be re-
<br />moved and new cement concrete
<br />curb built at the following places,
<br />to -wit, said curb to be six (6)
<br />Inches across the top and four-
<br />teen -(14) inches deep: The exist-
<br />ing ftfleen (15) linear feet,on the
<br />northeasterly side of May Street
<br />at the southeasterly end of the
<br />existing curb thereon.
<br />The existing six (6) linear feet
<br />on the northeasterly side of Nor-
<br />man Street, commencing 63 feet
<br />northwesterly from the south-
<br />easterly end of said Norman
<br />Street and extending six (6) feet
<br />a n•th westerly.
<br />That the existing sidewalk at
<br />returns be removed and rebuilt
<br />from the property lines' extended
<br />to the curb lines, at the following
<br />places, to -wit, said sidewalk to be
<br />cement 'concrete four (4) inches
<br />thick:
<br />At tine two (2) returns at the
<br />Intersection of May Street with
<br />Redwood Avenue.
<br />At tine two (2) returns at the
<br />Intersection of Norman Street
<br />with Redwood Avenue.
<br />On the northeasterly side of
<br />Regent Street at Its intersection
<br />with Redwood Avenue.
<br />On the northeasterly side of
<br />Sierra Street at its intersection
<br />with the northwesterly line of
<br />Redwood Avenue.
<br />That cement concrete ccnbina-
<br />don curb and gutter of the di-
<br />mensions hereinbefore mentioned
<br />be constructed at the following
<br />places, to replace sections of ex-
<br />isting curb to be removed:
<br />Fifteen (15) linear feet on the
<br />southeasterly side of Redwood
<br />Avenue at a point commencing
<br />eighty-two'
<br />(82) feet southwester-
<br />ly from the southwesterly line
<br />of Regent Street and extending
<br />southwesterly 15 feet;
<br />Fifteen (15) linear feet on the
<br />southeasterly side of Redwood
<br />Avenue commencing 97 feet south-
<br />westerly from the southwesterly
<br />line of May Street, and exten'1
<br />southwesterly 15 feet;
<br />Thirty-four (34) linear feet
<br />the northwesterlay side of Red-
<br />wood Avenue. commencing 107.14
<br />feet northeasterly from the north-
<br />easterly line of Sierra Street, and
<br />extending northeasterly 34 feet,
<br />Ten (10) linear feet on the
<br />northwesterly side of Redwood
<br />Avenue, at a point commencing
<br />at the southwesterly line of Ra-
<br />mona Avenue, and extending
<br />southwesterly 10 feet. A three (3)
<br />inch base or cushion of broken
<br />stone shall be placed under all
<br />curb and gutter to be constructed
<br />as herein provided,
<br />That Redwood Avenue be im-
<br />proved by having constructed
<br />thereon over the creek on said
<br />Redwood Avenue, between Regent
<br />Street and Gordon Street a tin
<br />bon bridge with a span of six-
<br />teen (16) feet and a total length
<br />of one hundred four (104) feet
<br />and seven (7) inches, extending
<br />from the northwesterly propdrty
<br />line of said Redwood Avenue to
<br />the southeasterly property line of
<br />said avenue, and across the creel
<br />or ditch on said Redwood Avenu
