Orly line of Redwood Avenue to the northwesterly line of Oak Avenue; Gordon Street from the northwesterly line of Redwood Avenue to the sotheastely line _ of Oak Avenue; May Street, Nor- man .Street, Oxford Street and Regent Street from the southeast- orly line of Redwood Avenue to the southeasterly line of the Red- wood Oaks subdivision, as shown on that certain map entitled " nlap of Redwood Oaks" filed March 30, 1912, in Book "8" of Maps, s page 6, San Mateo County Rec- ords, including all street inter- sections and terminations and por- tions thereof within the lines of the several streets and avenues above described, be improved as follows, towit: That the said streets and ave- 0 j lines and portions thereof above described be graded for the fall width thereof and for the lengths hereinbefore mentioned and that the roadways of said streets and avenues ' and portions thereof above described be paved with a base course ofasphaltic con- crete two and one-half '(21h) Inches in -thickness and a War- renite Bitulithic wearing surface one and one-half (1%) inches in atdckness, said pavement to be laid on a three (3) inch base or eushion of broken stone. There is excepted from the above described work on Redwood Avenue, Oak Avenue, Ramona Avenue and Gordon Street a strip eighteen (18) inches in width lm- medlately adjacent to the curb lines on both sides of the last mentioned streets and avenues and portions thereof that are to Ile paved which Is reserved for concrete gutters. ,There is further excepted from the above described work on Red- wood Avenue a strip eighteen (18) feet in width and across said. Redwood Avenue at an angle of 35 degrees to the center line of said avenue, being reserved for the location of a timber bridge, to be constructed thereon be- tween Regent Street and Gordon Street; and also a strip eight (3) Peet in width on the southeasterly side of the pavement to be built on Redwood Avenue, extending from the northeasterly edge of said timber bridge to the north- easterly line of Gordon Street. There Is aide further excepted from the pavement to be built, on above mentioned Redwood Ave- nue all that portion of the later - section of Gordon Street south- easterly from the southeasterly line of the roadway of said Red- wood Avenue, and also a triangu- lar portion of the pavement on ,outheasterly side of Redwood Avenue immediately adjacent to the. timber bridge and being eight. (81 feet in width adjacent to said timber bridge and extending forty- Mzht (48) feet northeasterly therefrom. That cement concrete combina- tion curb and flutter be construct- ed on both sides of Redwood Avenue, Ramona Avenue, Gordon Street and Oak Avenue, herein- before described to be paved the curb portion of said combination curb and gutter to be six (6) taches across the top and eleven (111 Inches deep, and the gutter portion of said combination curb and glitter to be eighteen (18) Inches wide and to be six (6) Inches thick next to the pavement and five (5) inches thicif nexM to the curb, and said cUtht1h n curb and Sutter shaln- structed atone time so eshall be no joint bote curb and Butte ; said cn curb :nd gutter of the s hereinbefore mentionedo be Constructed upon as of Redwood Avenuea Avenue, Gordon Street and Oak Avenue hereinbefore described to be paved. There is excepted, however, from tine above described cement concrete combination curb and gutter on Redwood Avenue all that portion on the southeasterly side thereof from the, southwest- erly . title of Ala), Street south- westerly to a point eighty-two (82) feet southwesterly from the south- westerly line of Regent Street; provided, however, that cement concrete gutters eighteen (1S) Itches In width and six (6) inches thick next to the curb and six (6) inches thick next to the pave- ment be constructed immediately adjacent to the existing curb thereon; also all that' portion on the northwesterly side of Redwood Avenue from a point 450.62 feet southwesterly from the south- westerly line of Hawes Street southwesterly to a point 151,85 feet southwesterly from the south- westerly line of Ramona Avenue and curb returns at Sequoia Ave- nue and the curb- return at the southwesterly corner of Regent Street at Redwood Avenue; pro- vided, however, that cement con- crete,gutters eighteen (18) inches ht width and six (6) inches thick next to the curb and six (6) Inches thick next to the pavement be constructed immediately ad- jacent to tine existing curbs thereon. Furthermore excepting that por- tion on the southeasterly side of Redwood Avenue from the south- westerly edge of bridge to be con- structer] thereon between Gordon Street and Regent Street to the southwesterly line of Gordon Street, no curb being required at the geek edge of pavement, nor at the returns on the southeaster- ly side of Redwood Avenue at Gordon Street. There is also excepted from the above described cement concrete combination curb and gutter on Oak Avenue all that portion on both sides of said Oak Avenue between the southwesterly line of Itamoua Avenue and the south- westerly line of Sequoia Avenue, and the two .curb returns on the northwesterly side of . said Oak Avenue at Ramona Avenue,, pro- vided, however, that cement con- crete gutters eighteen (18) inches In width and six (6) Inches thick next to the curb end six (6) inches thick next to the pavement be constructed imntedlatel;- adjacent to the er:)st)ng curbs thereon. There is also excepted from the combination cement concrete curb and gutter ordered herein the bridge on Redwood avenue to be constructed as herein ordered. That cement concrete curb be constructed at the following places, to -writ, said curb, to be six (6) inches" across the top and fourteen (lin inches deep: Five (51 linear feet at the southeasterly ends of the exist- ing curbs on both sides of Nor- man Street; six- (6) linear feet at the southeasterly ends of the existing curbs on both sides of Oxford Street; five (5) linear feet at the southeasterly end of the existing curb on the south- westerly side of Regent Street, and four (4) linear feet lit the southeasterly end of the existing curb on the northeasterly side of Regent Street. That the existing curb be re- moved at the following places, to -wit: One hundred (100) linear feet oil the southeasterly side of Red- wood Avenue, from the north- easterly line of May Street, ex- tending northeasterly 100 feet; fifteen (15) linear feet on the southeasterly side of Redwood Avenue at a point commencing eighty-two (82) feet southwest- er)y Prom the southwesterly line soy Regent Street, extending southwesterly 15 feet: fifteen (15) 'linear feet ,on the south- easterly side of Redwood Avenue commencing 97 feet southwesterly from the-southwesterl-, line of May Street, extending southwest- erly 15 feet: thirty-four (34) linear feet on the northwesterly side of Redwood Avenue, com- mencing 107.14 feet northeasterly from the northeasterly line of Sierra Street and extending northeasterly 34 feet; ten (10) linear feet on the northwesterly side of Redwood Avenue, at a point commencing at the south- westerly line of Ramona Avenue and extending southwesterly 10 feet; two (2) curb returns at the intersection of May Street with Intersection with Redwood Ave- nue; two (2) curb returns at the intersection of Norman Street with Redwood avenue; two (2) curb returns at the intersection or Oxford Street with Redwood Ave. "Ile; one curb return on the north- easterly side of Regent Street at Its interseellon with Redwood Avenue; one curb return an the northeasterly side or Sierra Street at its intersection with the north- westerly line of Redwood Avenue. Front a point on the north- westerly line of Redwood ,Avenue, commencing 151.85 feet south- westerly from the southwesterly line of Ramona Avenue to the no•Iheasterly line of Junlpero Avenue; and two (2) curb re- turns at the Intersection of Red- wood Avenue with Ramona Ave- nue; all the curb on the north- easterly site of Ramona Avenue between Redwood Avenue and Oak Avenue and the curb return 'it the southeasterly corner of Ramona Avenue and Oak Avenue. Phot the existing curb be re- moved and new cement concrete curb built at the following places, to -wit, said curb to be six (6) Inches across the top and four- teen -(14) inches deep: The exist- ing ftfleen (15) linear feet,on the northeasterly side of May Street at the southeasterly end of the existing curb thereon. The existing six (6) linear feet on the northeasterly side of Nor- man Street, commencing 63 feet northwesterly from the south- easterly end of said Norman Street and extending six (6) feet a n•th westerly. That the existing sidewalk at returns be removed and rebuilt from the property lines' extended to the curb lines, at the following places, to -wit, said sidewalk to be cement 'concrete four (4) inches thick: At tine two (2) returns at the Intersection of May Street with Redwood Avenue. At tine two (2) returns at the Intersection of Norman Street with Redwood Avenue. On the northeasterly side of Regent Street at Its intersection with Redwood Avenue. On the northeasterly side of Sierra Street at its intersection with the northwesterly line of Redwood Avenue. That cement concrete ccnbina- don curb and gutter of the di- mensions hereinbefore mentioned be constructed at the following places, to replace sections of ex- isting curb to be removed: Fifteen (15) linear feet on the southeasterly side of Redwood Avenue at a point commencing eighty-two' (82) feet southwester- ly from the southwesterly line of Regent Street and extending southwesterly 15 feet; Fifteen (15) linear feet on the southeasterly side of Redwood Avenue commencing 97 feet south- westerly from the southwesterly line of May Street, and exten'1 southwesterly 15 feet; Thirty-four (34) linear feet the northwesterlay side of Red- wood Avenue. commencing 107.14 feet northeasterly from the north- easterly line of Sierra Street, and extending northeasterly 34 feet, Ten (10) linear feet on the northwesterly side of Redwood Avenue, at a point commencing at the southwesterly line of Ra- mona Avenue, and extending southwesterly 10 feet.
