J . . � n • r._ ♦ . .. _ ... .. - <br />Upon <br />Upon roll oali there were present Trustees Pres H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, G.W. Mc- <br />Nulty, E.M.Dearborn, Clerk, W.A.Price. <br />Absent, Trustee, A.E.Monteith. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held May 17th, 1926, and minutes of regular adjourned <br />meeting held May 24th, was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Dearborn <br />said minutes be dispensed with. Motion carried. <br />Application of K.W.Herriford to erect an gasolene service station at the corner of <br />Washington and Webster Streets, was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee <br />Thorning and carried, same be granted in accordance with the plans and specifications. <br />also the ppproaches providing they do not interfer with the level of the sidewalks. <br />An invitation from the Sequoia Union High School inviting the Board to attend the <br />holding of thier annual"Citizen's Night" Friday evening June the 4th, was on motion of <br />Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Thorning same be received and filed.Motion carried. <br />Application of the Japaese Nursery on Redwood Ave to place a water main under Red- <br />wood Ave, was on motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee McNulty, said permit <br />be granted, same to be under the supervision of the Supt of Streets. Motion carried. <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Thorning the Electrical Products Corpo- <br />ration be awarded the contract for the furnishing the sign "Redwood City" same to be in <br />accordance to plans and specifications in the amount of $1190.00. Motion carried. <br />Application of the Pacific Tel & Tel Co to'rel6cate, three (3) poles on the State <br />Highway in front of the Perry Subdivision, was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by <br />Trustee Dearborn said application be granted. Motion carried. <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Dearborn the Board donate the <br />usual amount of 040.00 to the Redwood City Woman's Relief Corps towards paying the ex- <br />pense for the music for the Memorial Day excersices. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Dearborn the City Hall janitor salarl- <br />be increased 010.00 per month, Motion carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee Dearborn, the Clerk be instructed <br />to purchase 250 feet of 22 inch Double Jacket'fire hose at the price of $1.10 per foot <br />F.O.B. Redwood City.
