HE <br />Redwood City. December 19, 1927, 7;30 o'clock PAL <br />Regular meeting of the City Council was held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Councilmen Mayor H. A. Beeger, Z, T. <br />Thorning. D. R. Stafford, G. W MoNulty, E. M Dearborn, City. Clerk W. A. Price. <br />Moved by Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn, minutes of the <br />previous meeting be dispensed with until next regular meeting. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Thorning, the Council <br />approve the election of the following officers of the Redwood City Fire Department: <br />M. E, Ryan, Chief, C E. Choate, First Assistant, Al Russell, second Assistant, A. Si <br />Ligouri, Secretary and Treasurer. Motion carried. <br />Chief M. E. Ryan of the Fire Department presented his yearly report to the <br />Council and on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn, same be <br />received and filed. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Stafford, the City take <br />out group insurance in the Travelers Insurance Company. of Hartford, Conn, on each City <br />employee in the amount of $1000.00. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Stafford, the city Pur- <br />chasing Agent be authorized to purchase 250 feet of 2-� inch fire hose. Motion carried. <br />On motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Thorning, Health <br />Officer Drathman be authorized to have auto painted. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman MoNulty, seconded by Councilman Thorning, warrants be <br />issued to City Officials and employees day before Christmas. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Stafford, a warrant be <br />drawn in favor of Rachael D Graham, Secretary, in the amount of $25.00 for the San <br />Mateo Association for Prevention of Tuberculosis. Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Dearborn, the Western <br />sign be given permission to paint a sign on the building on Broadway occupied by the <br />University Creamery, Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Councilman Thorning, we do now <br />adjourn.
