<br />Regular meeting of the City Council held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Councilmen, Mayor H. A. Beeger, Z. T.
<br />Thorning, D. R. Stafford, G. W. McNulty, E. M. Dearborn, City Clerk W. A. Price.
<br />Moved by Councilman McNulty, seconded by councilman Thorning, minutes of
<br />previous meetings be dispensed with until next regular meeting. Motion parried.
<br />Affidavit of Jas. D., Hedge in the matter of publishing notice inviting sealed
<br />proposals for a street sweeper was on motion of Councilman Stafford, seoonied by Council-
<br />man McNulty, same be received and filed. Motion carried.
<br />Twa bids were received, publicly opened, examined and declared, and on motion
<br />of Councilman Stafford. seconded by Councilman Thorning, the bids be received and filed
<br />and laid over until next Monday night, January 9, 1928, at 7;30 o'olook P.M. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />Councilman Stafford offers Ordinance No 276, (An Ordinance dividing the Town
<br />of Redwood City into election precincts and establishing the boundaries thereof).and

<br />m6ve5•-its introduction Councilman McNulty seconds the motion. Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Thorning, Leonard 80
<br />Holt be given permission to place a time clock in front of their office on the Highway.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Councilman Stafford, the Superinten-
<br />dent of Streets be authorized to purchase a new pump for the outlet sewer. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />On motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the Pound
<br />Master salary be raised 010:00 per month, same to 'take effect and commencing January let,
<br />1928. Motion carried.
<br />Affidavit of Sam H. Winklebleck in the matter of publishing and affidavit of
<br />W. A. Price in'the matter of posting near Council Chamber door inviting sealed bids
<br />under Resolution of Intention No. J-15 was on motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded
<br />by Councilman Dearborn, said affidavits be received and filed. Motion carried.
<br />The follo**ng bids were received publicly opened, examined and declared for
<br />improvements under Resolution of Intention No. J-15, to -wit;

<br />ITEM 1. For constructing CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK, the sum of Nineteen Cents
<br />., ($0.19) per square foot.
<br />�. ITEM 2. For laying SUB BASE including preparing and shaping subgrade, the
<br />K� sum of Four Cents (60.04) per square foot.

<br />ITEM 1 For constructing CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK, the sum of
<br />$.17 per square foot. $3387.08
<br />ITEM 2. For laying SUB BASE, including preparing and shaping subgrade,
<br />the sum of $.034 per square foot. $ 710.57
<br />Moved by Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Dearborn, that the cert�-
<br />eied check of unsuccessful bidder be returned. Motion carried.
<br />Councilman Dearborn offers the following resolution and moves its adoption.
