i <br />C <br />,!m <br />344 <br />r <br />RESOLVED, that said Council of the Town of Redwood City hereby rejects all of <br />said proposals or bids except that next herein mentioned and hereby awards the contract <br />for doing said work and making said improvements to the lowest, regular, responsible <br />bidder, to -wit: Harvey E- Conner, at the prices named in his bid. <br />The Town Clerk is hereby directed to publish a notice of this award twice in <br />the Redwood City Tribune, a daily newspaper published, printed and circulated in said <br />Town of Redwood City, and hereby designated for that purpose by the Council of said Town. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the Town of Redwood City at the hour,of <br />9:30 o'clock P M. at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 3rd day of January,_ <br />1928, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution, Councilmen 11 I <br />Z. J-7 <br />WHEREAS, the assessment for street work done under that certain contract dated <br />the let day of August, 1927, between Manuel Smithuthe party of the first part, and C. L. <br />Dimmitt, as Superintendent of Streets of the Town of Redwood City, the party of the <br />second part, far the doing of all street work mentioned and described in Resolution of <br />Intention No. J-7, passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood <br />City on the 16th day of May, 1927, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said <br />Town, to which resolution of intention reference is hereby made for a description of <br />
