On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Stafford the City 1"urch- <br />! acing Agent be authorized to purchase two drinking fountains, one for the City Hall <br />lobby and one to be placed on the grounds in front of the City Hall. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Thorning seconded by Councilman Stafford we donow adjourn. <br />i <br />b <br />Motion carried. <br />W. A. Price. <br />City Clerk. <br />WHEREAS, it seems desirable that the various municipalities <br />comprising the Bay Region about San Francisco Bay should be included <br />as a portion of the Metropolitan area, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of REDWOOD CITY is logically a <br />part of the Metropolitan Area. <br />NOP, THEREFORE, BE IT RES0IUED, That the City of REDWOOD CITY <br />hereby respectfully requests the United States Bureau of Census that <br />it be included in the general census of the San Francisco Bay Fn;ion <br />Metropolitan Area, and requests such Census Bureau tc establish a <br />Metropolitan Area, including this with other enmmunitics in such Bay <br />Region in the 1930 Census. <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution <br />Councilmen. <br />THORNING, STAFFORD, McNULTY, DEARBORN, BEEGER. <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution. <br />NONE <br />Absent, Councilmen, NONE, <br />H.
