<br />pedestrian underpass under El Camino Real,
<br />If the property herein_ -.►_e...., granted ever ceases to be used for the
<br />purpose of
<br />constructing, maintaining and using an underpass under El Camino Real, it shall revert
<br />to the grantors, their successors or assigns.

<br />Councilman D.R.Stafford offers the following resolution and moves its adoption,
<br />to -wit:
<br />The Council of the Town of Redwood City does hereby determine and resolveas
<br />follows, to -wit:
<br />i
<br />Section 1. That the public interest and public necessity of said municipality,
<br />said Town of Redwood City, and of the inhabitants thereof, demand the acquisition,
<br />construction and completion of the following municipal improvement�_in and for said Town
<br />j' of Redwood City, to -wit:
<br />The acquisition, construction and completion of a bungalow type fire house sit-

<br />nate&=at-the corner of Myrtle and Jefferson Streets.1n:,the Town of Redwood City upon„
<br />a portion of lot numbered six (6) in block numbered nineteen (19), as shown upon that
<br />certain map entitled"Map No,2, Central Park, Redwood City, San Mateo Co, Cal" filed in
<br />the office of theACmunty of San Mateo, State of California, July 200 1912, in Book 8
<br />of Maps at pages 15 and 16 thereof.
<br />That the estimated cost of the work and improvement described in Section 1 abov:
<br />mentioned is the sum of $16.000.
<br />Section 2. That the public interest and n' eeessity of said munieipality,'said
<br />Town of Redwood City, and of the inhabitants thereof,, -demand the acquisition, construct-
<br />ion and iiompletion of the following municipal improvement in and for said Town of Red-
<br />wood City; to -wit:
<br />The acquisition, construction and completion of a pedestrian underpass under
<br />El Camino'Real, commencing on the northeasterly side therof 140 feet southeasterly from
<br />the intersection of the norteasterly line of E1 Camino Real and the southerly line of
<br />Broadway,eand extending southwesterly across said El Camino Real at right angles to the
<br />northeasterly and southwesterly lines thereof.
<br />That the estimated cost of the Bork and improvement described in Section 2
<br />above mentioned is the sum of $16.000
<br />'Section Z. That the cost of said work and improvements and of each and every
<br />one of said improvements is too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income dnd
<br />revenue of said Town of Redwood City, and said improvements and each and every one of
<br />said improvements will require an expenditure grater than the amount allowed for said
<br />improvements and for each of said improvements by the annual tax levy, and that it is
<br />the intention of the Council of said Town of Redwood City to have and'seeure the said
<br />improvements and each and every one of said improvements to be made, acquired, con-
<br />structed'and. completed. Said Council does hereby determine that all necessary and proper
<br />proceedings be and the same shall be taken and had as provided by'the laws of the State
<br />" constructing
<br />of California for the purpose and to the end of having, acquiing, making/, e
<br />and completing said municipal improvements and each and every one of said improvements.
<br />Councilman G.W.MeNulty seconds the motion and upon roll call -the same was passed
<br />and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the Town of Redwood City, County of
<br />San Mateo, State of California, held on the 6th day of February, 1928,, by the following
<br />vote:
<br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Councilmen
