P,M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees Held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees, Pres H.A.Beeger,,D..R.Stafford, E.M.Dearborn, <br />City Clerk, W.A.Price. <br />Absent, Trustees, Z.T,Thorning, G.W.MeNulty. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held July 6th, 1926, was read and on motion of Trustee <br />Stafford seconded by Trustee Dearborn same be proved as read, Motion carried. <br />Report of the Board of�Fire Underwriters of the Pacific of the new Seagrave Pumper <br />stating that the engine ran smoothy and all tests were satisfactory, -was on motion of <br />Trustee Dearborn, seconded by Trustee Stafford said report be received and filed. <br />Motion carried. <br />Report of the Trustees of the Redwood City Public Library for the fiscal year ending <br />July lst, 1926,was on motion of TrusteeStafford seconded by Trustee Dearborn the report <br />of the Library Trustees be received and filed. Motion carried.. <br />Communication from the Trustees of Merced asking the Board of.Trustees and other <br />City officials to attend the Convention of the League of California Municipalities at <br />the Yosemite Vallgy commencing August 16th, 1926, was.on motion of Trustee Dearborn, <br />seconded by Trustee Stafford same be received and filed. Motion carried. <br />Communication from the Hanrahan Company for a extension of ninety days on their <br />contract ZBr the improving of Myrtle Street, James Street and other streets, also an: <br />mxtension of sixty days time on their contract of improving of Oakdale street, was on <br />motion of TrustesvDearborn seconded by Trustee Stafford said applications be granted. <br />Motion carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Dearborn, seconded by Trustee Stafford the Supy of Streets be <br />authorized tp purchase 3ynew electroiiers. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Dearborn seconded by Trustee Stafford the City Clerk be instructed <br />to advertize for 2 car loads of 4 inch cast iron water pipe, and one car load of 6 inch <br />cast iron water pipe said bids to be opened August 9th, 1926, at 10 o'clock,A.M.Motion card <br />Moved by Trustee Stafford, seconded by Trustee Dearborn, the Supt of Streets be <br />authorized to purchase the necessary tires for his car. Motion carried. <br />Trustee Dearborn offers Ordinance No. 263, (An ordinance regulating the business of <br />automobile wreckers and dealers in second hand automobile parts and accessories) and <br />moves its introduction, Trmstee Stafford seconds the motion, Motion carried. <br />Affivadit of Sam H. Winklebleck in the matter of publishing NOTICE OF FILING ASS- <br />ESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENTS under Resolution of Intention No H-14, and affidavitscof W. A. <br />Price, City Clerk, in the matter of posting near Council Chamber door, and in the matter <br />of mailing notice and etc NOTICE OF FILING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENTS under Resolution <br />of Intention No. H-14, was on motion of Trustee Dearborn, seconded by Trustee Stafford <br />said affidavits be received and filed. Motion carried. <br />Trustee Dearborn offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee <br />Stafford seconds the motion. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING PROCEEDINGS AND ORFERING WARRANT <br />NO. H-14. <br />It is hereby resolved and determined by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Red- <br />wood City that the proceedings pursuant to the Resolution of Intention No, H-14 passed <br />by said Board of Trustees on the 10th day of August, 1925, and the City Engineer of said <br />Town of Redwood City relative to the work described in said Resolution of Intention, <br />hereby referred to for further particulars, be and the same are hereby confirmed, and <br />the assessmentirancl diagram for said work are hereby found to be correct and confirmed, <br />and it is hereby ordered that warrant be attached hereto accordingly. <br />Approved: <br />H.A.Beegex. <br />President or 'one Board. of Truszees. <br />Ci <br />L <br />0 <br />0 <br />I <br />
