<br />RE90LU TION DECLARING NUISANCE NO. L-¢.
<br />RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Redwood City that whereas, certain weeds are
<br />growing in the Town of Redwood City upon all of the streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and
<br />highways in said Town and upon all lots and property insaid Town, which weeds are of a kind
<br />which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and will attain such large growth as to become a
<br />fire menace when dry; and whereas, said weeds constitute a public menance.
<br />NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby declared that the said weeds do nowconstitute and will
<br />continue to constitue a public menance, and it is hereby ordered that said public menaceobe
<br />abated in the manner provided'by that certain act of the Legislature of the State of Calif-
<br />ornia entitled "An Act Authorizing Municipalities to Declare Noxious or Dangeroud Weeds
<br />Growing upon the streets or sidewalks or upon Private Property within 11anicipalities to be
<br />a Public Nuisance, Creating a Lien upon the Property Fronting on such streets or Sidewalks
<br />or upon which such Nuisance Exits, for the Cost of Abating the Same". approved May 26th,1915,
<br />together with acts amendatory thereof.
<br />The streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and highways upon which, and the lots and
<br />property upon which such nuisance exits, are all the streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and
<br />highways and all the lots and property in said Town of Redwood City and all lots and property
<br />fronting upon the streets, avenues, roads, boulevards and highways in said Town Of Redwood
<br />City.
<br />The Superintendent of Streets of the:Town of Redwood City is hereby directed to
<br />give the notice required by Section 3 of said Act hereinbefore mentioned and referred to
<br />herein, and he shall cause said notices to be immediately posted in front of the property as
<br />designated in this resolution.
<br />That Monday, the 6th day of May, 1929 at the hour of 8 o'clock, P.M.of said day,
<br />at the meeting place of the Council of said Town of Redwood City, in the Council Chamber in
<br />the Town Hall on Webster Street in said Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of
<br />California, be and the same is hereby fixed as the day, hour and place when objections to
<br />the removal of such weeds will be heard and given due consideration, and that said notices
