shall be posted at least five days prior to the time of the hearing of objections as fixed 85 <br />. <br />by said Council. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the Town of Redwood City at a regular meet- <br />ing thereof held on the 15th day of April, 1929,by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Councilmen, <br />Z.T.Thorning, D:.R.Stafford,G.W.MeNulty, E.M.Dearborn,H.A.Beeger. <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Councilmen: <br />NONE. <br />Absent, Councilmen: NONE. <br />IAttest: <br />H. A. Beeper. <br />Mayor of the Town o: Redwood City. <br />W. A. Price. <br />Clerk of the Town of Redwood City. <br />I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution this 15th, day of April. 1929• <br />H. Beeger. <br />Mayor of the Town of Redwood City. <br />Councilman Stafford offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Councilman <br />McNulty seconds the motion, Motion carried, <br />RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE* <br />Whereas, the Council of the Town of Redwood City did, on the 15th day of April, 19290 <br />pass and adopt Resolution Declaring Nuisance No. L-4, in which Resolution it was declared <br />that Noxious or dangerous weeds were growing upon all the streets, avenues, roads, boulevards, <br />highways and sidewalks in said Town of Redwood City and upon all the lots and property in said <br />Town of <br />Redwood <br />City, <br />which weeds <br />are <br />of a kind which <br />bear seeds of a <br />wingy <br />or downy <br />nature <br />and will <br />attain <br />such <br />large grofth <br />as <br />to become a fire <br />menace when dry, <br />and <br />that said <br />weeds <br />constitute a public nuisance. <br />AND WHEREAS, after the passage of said Resolution Declaring Nuisance No. L-4 the <br />Street Superintendent of the Town of Redwood City duly and regularly posted notices of the <br />passage of said Resolution in time, form. manner and number as required by law. <br />AND WHEREAS, at the time fixed in said notices and in said resolution when objections <br />to the removal of such weeds will be heard and given consideration by the Council of said Town <br />of Redwood City, no objections of any kind were made, -against the removal of such weeds, and <br />said Council now having acquired jurisdiction thereon. <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Redwood City that the Super - <br />intendent of Streets of said Town be and he is hereby ordered and directed to abate the nuis- <br />ance existing as specified in said Resolution Declaring nuisance No.L-4,as provided by laws <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the Town of Redwood City at a regular meeting <br />thereof held on the 6th day of May, 1929, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Councilmen:. <br />Z.T.Thorning, D.R.Stafford, G.w.McNulty, H.A.Beeper. <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Councilmen: <br />NONE , <br />Absent, Councilmen, E.M.Dearborn, <br />Attest: w.A.Price. <br />Clerk of the Town of RedwoodcCity. <br />H.
