Councilman Stafford offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Councilman McNulty seconds the motion, Motion carried, RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE* Whereas, the Council of the Town of Redwood City did, on the 15th day of April, 19290 pass and adopt Resolution Declaring Nuisance No. L-4, in which Resolution it was declared that Noxious or dangerous weeds were growing upon all the streets, avenues, roads, boulevards, highways and sidewalks in said Town of Redwood City and upon all the lots and property in said Town of Redwood City, which weeds are of a kind which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and will attain such large grofth as to become a fire menace when dry, and that said weeds constitute a public nuisance. AND WHEREAS, after the passage of said Resolution Declaring Nuisance No. L-4 the Street Superintendent of the Town of Redwood City duly and regularly posted notices of the passage of said Resolution in time, form. manner and number as required by law. AND WHEREAS, at the time fixed in said notices and in said resolution when objections to the removal of such weeds will be heard and given consideration by the Council of said Town of Redwood City, no objections of any kind were made, -against the removal of such weeds, and said Council now having acquired jurisdiction thereon. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Redwood City that the Super - intendent of Streets of said Town be and he is hereby ordered and directed to abate the nuis- ance existing as specified in said Resolution Declaring nuisance No.L-4,as provided by laws Passed and adopted by the Council of the Town of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of May, 1929, by the following vote: Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Councilmen:.
