<br />I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution this 6th day of May, 1929•

<br />Mayor of the Town of Redwood City,
<br />Councilman Stafford offers the following resolution and moves its adoption, to -wit:
<br />The Council of the Town of Redwood City does hereby determine and resolve as
<br />follows, to -wit:
<br />i
<br />Section 1, That the public interest and liublic necessity of said municipality,said
<br />Town of Redwood City, and of the inhabitants thereof,demand the acquisition and completion
<br />of the following municipal improvements in and for said Town of Redwood City, to -wit:
<br />The acquisition, construction and completion of a new City Hall for said Town of
<br />Redwood City, together with the furnishing thereof,to be situated upon the property at the
<br />corner of Webster and Washington Streets in the Town of Redwood City adjacent to the present
<br />City Hall. ,
<br />That the estimated cost of the work and improvement -described herein in Section l
<br />above mentioned is the sum of Sixty-five Thousand (�p65.000) Dollars,
<br />Section 2. That the cost of said work and improvement is too great to be paid out
<br />out of the ordinary income and revenue of said Town of Redwood City, and said improvement
<br />will require an expend.tture greater than the amount allowed for said improvement by the ann-
<br />ual tax levy, and that it is the intention of the Council of said Town of Redwood City to
<br />have and secure the said improvement to be made, acquired, constructed, completed and fur-
<br />nished., Said Council does hereby det6imine that all necessary and proper proceedings be and
<br />the same shall be taken and had as provided by the laws of the State of California for the
<br />purpose and to the end of having, acquirtAg, constructing, completing and furnishing said
<br />municipal improvement,
<br />Councilman Thorning seconds the motion, and upon roll call the same was passed
<br />and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the Town of Redwood City, County of San
<br />Mateo, State of California, held on the 6th day of May, 1929, by the following vote:
<br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution, Councilmen;
