1' <br />C3 r"'t <br />Redwood City May 13th, 19299 8 o'clock, P.LI. <br />Regular adjourn meeting of the City Council held. <br />Upon roll call tere were present Councilmen Mayor H. A. Beeger, Z. T. Morning, D. R. <br />Stafford, G.W.MeNulty, E.M.Dearborn, City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn the minutes of <br />meeting held May 6th, 1929, be dispensed with until next regular meeting. Motion carried. <br />Application of J. Kimura residing on the Woodside Road to secure water from the City <br />was on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn said application be <br />granted. Motion carried. <br />Application of the Peninsula Paving Co for an extention of 90 days within which to <br />complete their' contract for improvement of West Redwood under Resolution of Intention No. <br />K-89 was on motion of Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Councilman Stafford said application <br />be granted, Motion carried. <br />Application of the Peninsula Paving Co for an extention of 90 days within which to <br />complete their contract for the improvement of Stafford Street under Resolution of Intention <br />No. K-109 was on motion of Councilman Dearborn, seconded by Councilman Stafford said applica- <br />tion be granted. Motion carried. <br />Communication from the Ravenswood Water District regarding a meeting to be called <br />in the County Court House in Redwood City in regards to rate charged for water by the Spring t <br />Valley Water Co along the peninsula, was on motion of Councilman Dearborn seconded by Coun- <br />cilman T'horning, the City Attorney and City Engineer be instructed to be present at this <br />r <br />meeting. Motion carried. <br />Communication from Dr Francis J. Gruss regarding a yacht harbor on the Redwood <br />t <br />City water front, was on motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Dearborn the <br />communication be received and filed for future refference. Motion carried. <br />i <br />Councilman Stafford offers Ordinance Ido. 296, (An ordinance calling a special elec- } <br />tion in the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, for the purpose <br />of submitting and submitting to the qualified voters of said Town of Redwood City the pro- <br />position to incur a bonded indebtedness to pay the cost of certain municipal improvements <br />in and for said Town, the cost of which will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary <br />annual income and revenue of said Town, and consolidating said special election with the <br />municipal election to be held in said Town of Redwood City on the llth day of June, 1929, <br />as required and provided by the charter of said Town) and moves its introduction, Councilman <br />McNulty seconds the motion. Motion carried. <br />On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Thorning the Nipa Hut <br />ba;z granted permission to erect an adertising sign on their property situAted on the High- <br />way for the -use omly, Motion carried. <br />Councilman McNulty offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Coun- <br />cilman Morning seconds the motion.
