<br />Councilman Thorning offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Councilman

<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING STREET ASSESSMENT NO.. L -3 -
<br />WHEREAS, the assessment for street work done under that certain contract
<br />dated the 25th day of April, 1929, between the Peninsula Paving Company, a corporation,
<br />first party, and C. L. Dimmitt, as Superintendent of Streets of the Town of Redwood
<br />City, second party, for the doing of all street work mentioned and described in
<br />Resolution of Intention No. L-3, passed and adopted by the Council of the Town of
<br />Redwood City on the lAth day of February, 1929, and now on file in the office of the
<br />Clerk of said City, to which Resolution of Intention reference is hereby made for a
<br />description of said work, was filed in the office of the Clerk of said City of
<br />Redwood City on the 26th day of June, 1929; and
<br />WHEREAS, said City Clerk did thereupon fix Monday, the 15th day of July,
<br />1929, at the hour of 8:00 o'Clock P.M. of said day, at the meeting place of the '
<br />Council of the City of Redwood City, in the Council Chamber in the Town Hall on
<br />Webster Street in said Town., as the time and place of hearing on said assessment,
<br />as required by law, and as the time and place for making written objections thereto,
<br />as provided for in the Improvement Act of 1911; and
<br />WHEREAS, notice of the filing of said assessment and of.the time fixed
<br />for hearing thereon was duly given by posting, publishing and mailing, as required
<br />by law, as appears from the affidavits of W. A. Price and Sam H`.'Winklebl.eck, ho*^
<br />on file in the office of the Clerk of said City of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, at the time and place last herein mentioned, no obje,dtidns of -
<br />any kind were made against said assessment; and
<br />WHEREAS, said Council of the City of Redwood City has now acquired
<br />jurisdiction thereon:
<br />THEREFORE.BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood. City, ,County
<br />of San Mateo, State of California, that the assessment above mentioned for street
<br />work done under Resolution of Intention No. L-3 hereinbefore referred to herein be
<br />and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the Superintendent of Streets of
<br />said City of Redwood City is hereby directed to attach a warrant thereto and deliver
<br />same to the contractor, as required by law.
<br />'Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular
<br />meeting thereof held on the 15th day of July, 1929, by the following vote;_ .
