Motion carried. <br />AN ORDER PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS BONDS, <br />PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATIONS OF SUCK BONDS AND OF :HE INTEREST <br />COUPONS ATTACHED THERETO. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, <br />j did, on the 18th day of February, 1929, pass and adopt its Resolution of Intention 'No. 1-3 for <br />the improvements of a portion of Lexington Avenue in said City of Redwood City, under pursuant <br />to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911 and amendments thereto, and under the provis- <br />ions of the Improvement Bond Act -of 1915, and amendments thereto, :and to the resolutions, not. <br />ices and Ether proceedings of said Council duly adopted and taken, reference to said Resolution <br />of Intention No. L-3 being hereby expressly made for a description of said work and for further <br />particulars; and <br />f . <br />WHEREAS, the contract for said work and improvements was duly awarded and thereafter duly <br />completed to the satisfaction of the Street Superintendent and Council of said City of Redwood <br />City whereupon an assessment and warrant were made, recorded and delivered to the contractor <br />in time, form and manner as required by said Acts, and the contractor having made due return <br />thereon, and the same having been duly recoreded; and <br />j WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of August, 1929 the Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood <br />City made and filed with the City Clerk of said City a complete list of assessmeats'unpaid <br />thereunder upon the respective assessments numbe_s thereon, whereupon said City Clerk gave not- <br />ice of the filing of said unpaid list and fixed in said notice Tuesday the 3rd day of September, <br />)ney <br />1291 at the hour of 8o'clock P. M. at the meeting place of the Council of the City of Redwood <br />.City, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall on Webster Street in said City, as the time and <br />place when interested persons might appear before said City Council and show cause why bonds <br />3r <br />should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on said list, said time <br />being that of this regular meeting of said Cou.nci; and said Council having heard all objections <br />r <br />and passed upon the same, it is hereby determined that the assessments unpaid thereunder and <br />the aggregate amount of the same are as follows: <br />1i M" <br />
