'1 NOW THEREFORE, it is by the Council of the Town of Redwood City resolved and determined That the following described portion of Laurel Street in said Tom of Redwood City be clos - ed and vacated as a public street and highway, to -wit: Laurel Street from the southwesterly line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's main i Lina+right of way to the southwesterly line of Chew Street. And also that the following described portion of Willow Street in said To= of Redwood City be closed and vacated as a public street and highway, to -wit: + Willow Street from the southwesterly line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's main line right of way to the southwesterly line of Chew Street. And said Council of the Town of Redwood City does hereby determine and declare that it is unnecessary to take any lands for the work of closin said hereinbefore mentioned streets or os- i portions thereof and that it is unnecessary to levy any assessment to provide for the closing of said hereinbefore mentioned streets or portions thereof. All the herein proposed work shall be done in pursuance of and in conformity with an Act of the Legislature of the State of California entitled "An Act to Provide for the laying out, r Opening, Extending, Widening, Lengthening or Closing up, in Whole or in Part, any Street, Square, Lane, Alley, Court or Place Within Municipalities, and to Condemn and Acquire any and all Lands n and Property Necessary and Convenient for that Purpose", approved March 6, 1889, and that sever- al acts amendatory thereof or supplemental thereto. s Passed and adopted by the Council of the Town of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of September , 1929, by the following vote: Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution, Councilmen Z.
