'] Redwood City, September 16, 1929 8 o'clock P. M. <br />1 40 <br />Regular meeting of the City Council held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Mayor H. A. Seeger,.D. R. Stafford, G. W. McNulty, <br />C. J. Hildebrand, G. J. Dusel, P. A. L_'cCarthy, City Clerk W. A. Price. <br />Absent, Councilman Z. T. Thorning. <br />On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Hildebrand, the minutes of pre- <br />vious meeting be dispesned with until next regular meeting. Motion carried. <br />A petition was presented to the Council, signed by 20 property owners facing Iain Street, <br />requesting the Council to install Electrolidrs on Main Street from I,iaple Street to E1 Camino <br />Real, was on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Council Dusel, same be received and <br />filed. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Coumcilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Stafford the City Engineer and City <br />Manager be instructed to prepare the necessary proceeding, as outlined in said petition. I'dot- <br />ion carried. <br />Application of Court Mladrone F. and A. for a dance permit for Wednesday evening, Sept- <br />ember 18th and 25th, 1929, was on mot -ion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Council FICNulty:, <br />same be granted. Motion carried. <br />Affidavit of Lora C. Benning of the Redwood City Tribune in the matter of publishing. <br />Notice of public hearing on Ordinance No. . and tio. was on motion of councilman Stafford, <br />seconded by Councilman McNulty, same be received and filed. L-1 was received and <br />filed, whereupon Councilman McCarthy offered the following Resolution and moves its adoption. <br />Councilman Hildebrand seconds the motion. L-1 <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Redwood City did, on the 4th day of February, 192j, <br />pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No. L-1 to order the doing of certain work and imp- <br />rovements set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No. L-1 which is now on <br />file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City and to which reference is hereby <br />made for a description thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No. L-1 were duly and <br />legally posted and publ1shed, as required by law, as appears from the affidavits of C. L. <br />Dimmitt, Street Superintendent, and Sam H. Windlebleck, now on file in the office of the said <br />City of Redwood City; and <br />1 <br />
