{ 147 <br />I <br />Redwood City, October 219 1929 7;`30 o'clock P. M. <br />1 <br />Regular meeting of the City Council held. <br />Upon roll call there were present, Mayor H. A. Beeper, Z. T. Thorning, D. R. Stafford, <br />W. J. Dusel, G. W. McNulty, C. J. Hildebrand, P. A. McCarthy, City Clerk W. A. Price. <br />Minutes of meeting held October 7th, 1929 was read on motion of Councilman McCarthy, <br />' seconded by Councilman IuIcNulty, same be approved as read with the correction Service Truck <br />instead of Hook and Ladder Track. Motion carried. <br />Application of Court Madrone 2.&A. No. 158 for dance permits October 9th, 16th, 23rd, <br />I <br />and 30th, 1929 was on motion of Councilman Jtafford, said permits be granted. Motion carried. <br />The further hearing on the matter of protests against confirmation of report assessment <br />and flat udder Resolution of Intention No. L-1, now coming regularly before the Board City <br />Attorney. Mansfield stated that he had been in conference with the Southern Pacific Company <br />and that they' requested a continuance of said hearing until November 4, 1929, at 7:300 P -M- <br />Whereupon on motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the further <br />heating of the protests against confirmation of the report,assessment and flat umder Resolut- <br />ion of Intention No. L-1 be continued to November 4, 1929 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. Motion <br />carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Staffore', seconded by Councilman Hildebrand that Councilman P. A. <br />McCarthy, be appointed on the executive committee, representing the City Council on the widen- <br />ing of the State Highway. Motion carried.. <br />i <br />Moved by Councilman IdeCarthy, seconded by Councilman Dusel, the City Engineer prepare <br />b specifications for the City Yacht Harbor, and the City Manager be instructed to advertise <br />for the Creosoted Piles. Motion carried. <br />f Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Stafford all outside water consumers <br />pay in accordance with rates charged by the Spring Valley Water Company's rate when the City <br />is purchasing water from the Company, otherwise the present city rate shall prevail. Motion <br />carried. <br />On motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Hildebrand, the City Attorney <br />be instructed to proceed with the foreclosure on all property delinquent, for street improve- <br />ment assessment for the- years 1924, 1925, 1926. Motion carried. <br />loved by Councilman KeNulty, seconded by Councilman Thorning, the claims be O.Ked and <br />passed by the Pinance Committee be allowed and warrants be drawn upon the respectful funds <br />i, <br />for payment of same.
