Pri ra <br />Minutes of regular meeting held October 21st, 1929 was on motion.: of "Councilman Dusel, <br />seconded by Councilman Stafford same be approved. Motion Carried. <br />Councilman McCarthy offers the following resolutions and moves its adoption. Council- <br />man Thorning seconds the motion. Motion carried. <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo , State of <br />California, that the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized and directed to file <br />a formal complaint vi th the Railroad Commission of the State of California again t the <br />Pacific Gas and Electric Company re que sting an adjustment of the amount charged said <br />City for furnishing electricity for street lighting from July 1, 1928, to date. <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID Council that the Mayor of said City be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed as the executive of said City to sign said formal <br />complaint to be presented to the Railroad Commission of the State of California. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City, at a regular meeting <br />thereof held on tin 4th day of November, 1929, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of 'h e foregoing resolution , Councilman; Z. Motion carried. <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, Cwunty of San Mateo, State of <br />California, that the City Attorney be andhe is hereby authorized and directed to file a <br />formal complaint with the Railroad Comnission of the State of California against the <br />Pacific Gas and Electric Company reque sting said Railroad Commission to determine vhe ther <br />or not the Pacific Gas and Electric Company now has a rate applicable to the City of Redwood <br />City for the furnishing to said City of electricity for general municipal purposes, arca if <br />there is no rate now applicable, t.Lat said Railroad Commission of the State of California <br />be requested to establish such a rate, <br />AND BE IT FU3THER RESOLVED By said Council that the Mayor of said City be and he is <br />hereby authori zed and directed as ae executive of said City to sign said formal complaint <br />to be presented to the Railroad Comni ssion of the State of California. <br />D <br />
