174 <br />be placed under all cement concrete combined curb and gutter <br />to be constructed upon the corners as herein provided. <br />(c) That cement concrete sidewalks four -(4) inches thick <br />and five (5) feet wide be constructed on both sides of said <br />Ebener Street herein described; said sidewalks to be laid <br />upon a base or cushion of broken stone three (3) inches in <br />thickness and five (5) feet six (6) inches in width. Said <br />sidewalks shall also be constructed upon all corners of <br />intersecting and terminating streets within the lines of <br />Ebener Street hereinbefore described, as said plans, <br />profiles, detailed drawings and specifications have been <br />prepared by the City Engineer of said City of Redwood City, <br />and submitted this 17th day of March, 1930, be and they are <br />Hereby adopted as and for the plans, profiles, detailed <br />drawings and specifications for doing said work and making <br />said improvements. <br />AND WHEREAS, The City Engineer of the City of Redwood <br />City has submitted and filed with said plans, profiles, <br />detailed drawings and specifications a map or plat showing <br />the assessment district of lands benefitted by the work and <br />improvements herein described, which map or plat is entitled <br />"Map Showing Assessment District under Resolution of <br />Intention No. M-211. <br />AND WHEREAS, The map or plat showing said assessment <br />district benefitted by the work and improvements herein <br />described has been examined by and is satisfactory to said <br />Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, Be it further resolved by the Council <br />of the City of Redwood City that the map or plat showing <br />the assessment district benefitted by the work and im- <br />Ptrovements herein described, which map or plat is entitled <br />1Map Showing the Assessment District under Resolution of <br />Intention No.M-2", be and the same is hereby adopted and <br />approved and said Council does hereby determine and declare <br />that the foregoing descrip.ed work and improvements are of <br />more than local or ordinary public benefit and will affect <br />and benefit the lands and district shown on the hereinbefore <br />mentioned map or plat entitled "Map Showing'Assessment <br />District under Resolution of Intention No.M-2", which <br />district described and shown on said map or plat said <br />Council hereby declares to be the district benefitted by <br />said work and improvements; and said Council further determines <br />and declares that the entire costs and expenses of said work <br />and improvements shall be and are hereby made chargeable <br />against and shall be assessed upon said lands and district <br />shown on said map or plat herein mentioned, which district <br />is within the limits of the City of Redwood City, County of <br />San Mateo, State of California. <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the Council of the City <br />of Redwood City, that the official elevations for the street <br />grades of said streets and avenues hereinbefore mentioned, <br />crown grades, curb grades and grade elevations for top of <br />gutters be changed and grades different.from those established <br />or adopted prior to the adoption by the Council of said City <br />of Redwood City of the plans, profiles, detailed drawings and <br />speFifications adopted by this resolution shall be adopted, <br />and such official and different and prior grades shall be <br />modified and are hereby modified and changed so that the <br />official grades shall be and conform to the official grades <br />as shown on said plans, profiles, detailed drawings and <br />specifications adop't'ed by this resolution, which plans, <br />profiles, detailed drawings and specifications are now on <br />file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City. <br />All of the work and improvements herein described shall be <br />done and made to the new official grades as shown on said <br />plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications <br />adopted by this resolution, to which plans, profiles, de- <br />tailed drawings and specifications reference is hereby made <br />for a description of the grades at which said work is to be <br />done and said improvements made and the same are made a <br />part hereof. All grades between points as shown on said <br />plans, profiles and detailed drawings shall be a straight <br />line.
