176 <br />(c) That cement concrete sidewalks four (4) inches <br />thick and five (5) feet wide be constructed on both sides <br />of said Ebener Street herein described; said sidewalks to <br />be laid upon a base or cushion of broken stone three (3) <br />inches in thickness and five (5) feet six (6) inches in <br />width. Said sidewalks shall also be constructed upon all <br />corners of intersecting and terminating streets within <br />the lines of Ebener Street hereinbefore described. <br />The width of the streets and avenues hereinbefore <br />mentioned, and the width of the roadways of said streets <br />and avenues, and the width of the sidewalks of said <br />streets and avenues are to be and are as shown on the <br />plans, profiles and detailed drawings hereinafter <br />referred to herein. <br />That the official elevations for the street grades <br />of said streets and avenues hereinbefore mentioned, crown <br />grades, curb grades and -'grade elevations for top of <br />gutters be changed and grades different from those <br />established or adopted prior to the adoption by the Council <br />of the City of Redwood City of the plans, profiles, detailed <br />drawings and specifications hereinafter referred to herein <br />shall be adopted, and such official and different and prior <br />grades shall be modified and are hereby modified and changed <br />so that the official grades shall be and conform to the <br />grades as'shown on the plans, -profiles and detailed drawings <br />for said work and improvement, which plans, profiles and <br />detailed drawings were heretofore adopted by the Council of <br />the City of Redwood City on the 17th day of March, 1930, <br />by -"Resolution Adopting Plans, Profiles and Specifications <br />No. M-211, which plans, profiles, detailed drawings and <br />specifications are now on file in the office of the Clerk <br />of the City of Redwood City and to which plans, profiles, <br />detailed drawings and specifications reference is hereby <br />made for a description of the grades at which said work <br />is to be done and said improvements made and the same are <br />made a part hereof. All grades between points as shown <br />on said plans, profiles and detailed drawings shall be a <br />straight line. All such grades and elevations herein <br />.established are in feet and decimals thereof above the City <br />Base of the City of Redwood City. <br />All the hereinbefore and hereinabove mentioned and <br />described work and improvements are to be done and made <br />at the locations and positions and of the sizes and <br />dimensions and of the materials as shown and described <br />on the plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications <br />adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City on the <br />17th day of March, 1930, and now on file in the office of <br />the Clerk of said City, to which plans, profiles, detailed <br />drawings and specifications reference is hereby made for <br />a complete description and location of said work and <br />improvements and for further particulars, and the same <br />are made a part hereof. <br />And the Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby <br />determine and declare that the foregoing described work and <br />improvements are of more than local or ordinary public <br />benefit and will affect and benefit the lands and district <br />hereinafter mentioned, which said district is hereby declared <br />to be the district benefitted by said work and improvements; <br />that therefor the entire costs and expenses of said work <br />and improvements shall be and are hereby made chargeable <br />against and shall be assessed upon said lands and district, <br />which district is within the limits of the City of Redwood <br />City, County of San Mateo, State of California, and said <br />district is described and shown on a certain map or plat <br />entitled "Map Showin§ Assessment District under Resolution <br />of Intention No. M-2 , which map or plat was adopted and <br />approved by the Council'of the City of Redwood City on the <br />17th day of March, 1930, and which map or plat is now on <br />file in the office of the f,"lerk of said City of Redwood <br />City, and to which map or plat reference is hereby made <br />for an accurate and complete description and location of <br />said assessment district and the same is made a part hereof; <br />provided, however, that all streets and avenues or portions <br />thereof included within said assessment district and shown <br />on the map thereof shall be omitted from any assessment <br />levied for the costs and expenses of the work aforesaid, <br />said streets and avenues and portions thereof now being in <br />public use as public streets and avenues. <br />There is hereby excepted from the work and improvements <br />aforesaid any thereof that is already done to the lines and <br />grades as shown on the plans, profiles, detailed drawings <br />and specifications herein referred to. <br />1 <br />
