1. That all that portion of Chestnut Street herein described be improved by being graded and having constructed thereon a hydraulic cement concrete pavement six (6) inches thick laid upon a base of broken stone three (3) inches thick after rolling with a cushion of. sand one (1) inch thick laid between said broken stone base and said concrete pavement; provided however, that said cement concrete pavement shall have a thickness of eight (8) inches along each edge thereof nearest the center of said Chestnut Street and shall taper to a thickness of six (6) inches three (3) feet from each of said edges, as the same are shown on the plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications Prepared by the City Engineer of said City of Redwood City, and submitted this 7th day of April, 1930, be and they are hereby adopted as and for the plans, profiles, detaileddrawings and specifications for doing said work and making said improvements. Reference is hereby made to the patent license agreement of McEverlast, Incorporated, dated the 12th day of October, 1928, and now on file in the,office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City, and the sar:e is made a part hereof. Reference is hereby made to the patent license agreement of Concrete Curing Inc. dated the 2nd day of December, 1929, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City, and the same is made a part hereof. AND WHEREAS., The City Engineer of the City of Redwood City has submitted and filed with said plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications a map or plat showing the assessment district of lands benefited byythe work and improvements herein described; which map or plat is entitled "Map Showing Assessment District under Resolution of Intention No. M-611. AND WHEREAS, The map or plat showing said assessment district benefited by the work and improvements herein described has been examined by and is satisfactory to said Council. NOW THEREFORE, Be it further resolved by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the map or plat showing the assessment district benefited by the work and improvements herein described, which map or plat is entitled "Map Showing the Assessment District under Resolution of Intention No. M-611, be and the same is hereby adopted and approved and said Council does hereby determine and declare that the foregoing described work and improvements are of more than local or ordinary public benefit and will affect and benefit the lands and district shown on the hereinbefore mentioned map or plat entitled "Map Showing Assessment District under Resolution of Intention No. M-611, which district described and shown on said map or plat said Council hereby declares to be the district benefited by said work and improve- ments; and said Council further determines and declares that the entire costs and expenses of said work and improvements shall be and are hereby made chargeable against and shall be assessed upon said lands and distridt shown on said map or plat herein mentioned, which district is within the limits of the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Redwood City, that the official elevations for the street grades of said streets and avenues hereinbefore mentioned, crown grades, curb grades and grade elevations for top of gutters be changed and grades different from those established or adopted prior to the adoption by the Council of said City of Redwood City of the plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications adopted by this resolution shall be adopted, and such official and different and prior grades shall be modified and are hereby modified and changed so that the official grades shall be and conform to the official grades as shown on said plans, profiles; detailed drawings and specifications adopted by this resolution, now conpfile�inrthelofficetoflthedCle�rkgofathep City 1of�ions e Redwood City. All of the work and improvements herein described shall be done and made to the new official grades as shown on said plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications adopted by this resolution, to which plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications reference is hereby made for a description of the grades at which said work is to be done and said improge- ments made and the same are made a part hereof.
