192. -----M-7----- Councilman Hildebrant, seconded by Councilman McCarthy offered the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS, PROFILES AND SPECIFICATIONS NO. M-7 RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, that C.L.Dimmitt, City Engineer of said City, be and he is hereby ordered to prepare plans, profiles, detailed drawings specifications and estimates for doing the following work and making the following improvements in said City, to -wit: That Minnie Street from the southerly line of the roadway of Broadway southerly to the northwesterly line of the roadway of James Street; and George Street from the westerly line of Minnie Street westerly to the northeasterly line of tre roadway of E1 Camino Real, including all inter- sections, terminations or opposite terminations or portions thereof included within the limits above described, be improved as'follows, to -wit: (1) That the hereinbefore described portions of Minnie and George Streets be graded for their full widths and for the lengths hereir_before described. (2) That cement concrete curbs integral with the pavement six ('6) -inches across the top and twelve (12) inches deep be constructed on both sides of said Minnie and George Street's within the limits above described and upon all corners of intersecting'and terminating streets within said'limits; provided, however, that said integral-cir b shall be laid upon a broken store base three (3) inches thick after rolling with a one (1) inch sand cushion laid between said broken stone base and said integral curb to be built as herein provided. (3) That the roadways and portions of roadways of said Minnie and George Streets above described, including inter- sections, terminations or opposite terminations, within the lines and limits of said Minnie and George Streets hereinbefore described be paved with a cement concrete pavement six (6) inches in thickness laid upon a base of broken stone three (3) inches in thickness after rolling with a sand cushion one (1) inch in thickness to be laid between said broken stone base and said concrete pavement; provided, however, that said cement concrete pavement shall have a thickness of eight (8) inches along the centerlines of said Minnie and George Streets and taper to a thickness of six (6) inches three (3) feet on each side of the centerlines of said streets. (4) That eight (8), four (4) inch vitrified salt glazed tile pipe sewer laterals be constructed from the main sewer now in place along the centerline of Minnie Street from Broadway to James Street, five (5) of such laterals extending from said main sewer to the easterly property line of said Minnie Street and three (3) of such laterals extending from the main sewer to the westerly property line of said Minnie Street, and said laterals to be connected with the main sewer now in place in said Minnie Street by tapping said sewer and connecting by cement joint. Also that six (6), four (4) inch vitrified salt glazed tile pipe sewer laterals be constructed from the main sewer now in place along the centerline of George Street from Minnie Street to El Camino Real, three (3) of such laterals extending from the main sewer to the southea§terly property line of George Street and three (3) of such laterals extending from said main sewer to the northwesterly property line of George Street, and said laterals to be connected with the wyes now in place in said main sewer. (5) That cement concrete sidewalks four (4) inches thick and six (6) feet in width be constructed on both sides of Minnie Street and on both sides of George Street within the lines and limits of said Minnie and George Streets here- inbefore described, also. on the northwesterly side of James Street, between Minnie Street and E1 Camino Real, including all corners of intersecting or terminating streets within the lines and limits of said Minnie and George Streets above described; provided, however, that all cement concrete sidewalk shall be laid upon a base or cushion of broken stone three (3) inches thick after rolling with a sand
