r g'. <br />w <br />Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant offered the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLVED, THAT WHEREAS, The City of Redwood City has hereto- <br />fore accepted deeds for the purpose of widening Minnie Street in said <br />City of the following described real property to -wit: <br />PARCEL 1. <br />Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Minnie <br />Street and the southerly line of Broadway- • thence on and along the <br />southerly line of Broadway South 850 551 Vest 25 feet to the point of <br />beginning of this parcel of land; thence from said point of beginning <br />and running southerly at a right angle to said southerly line of Broad- <br />way and parallel to and distant 25 feet westerly from the centerline of <br />Minnie Street 100 feet to a point; thence at a right angle easterly to <br />the westerly line of Minnie Street; thence northerly on and along the <br />westerly line of Minnie Street to the southerly line of Broadway; thence <br />on and along the southerly line of Broadway in a westerly direction ten <br />feet to the point of beginning; being a portion of Villa Lot 12 and <br />a portion of what was formerly 5th Street, as same are shown on "Map <br />of the Town of Mezesville", filed August 1, 1856, in Book 1 of Maps at <br />page 79, Records of San Mateo County, State of California. <br />PARCEL 2. <br />Commencing at the point of intersection of the centerline of <br />Minnie Street with the southerly line of Broadway; thence at a right <br />angle southerly from said southerly line of Broadway on and along the <br />centerline of Minnie Street to the southerly line of George Street, <br />extending easterly in a straight line; thence westerly from said center- <br />line of Minnie Street on and along the extension of the southerly line <br />of George Street and along the southerly line of George Street 25 feet <br />to the point of beginning of this parcel of land; thence from said <br />point of beginning running in a southerly direction parallel to and <br />distant 25 feet westerly from the prolongation of the centerline of <br />Minnie Street in a southerly direction to a point in the northerly line <br />of Lot 22, as same is shown on map of <br />It Street Addition", filed <br />July 19, 1927, in Book 16 of Maps, at page 13, Records of San Mateo <br />County, State of California; thence running along the northerly line <br />of said Lot 22 and the prolongation of said line in,a northeasterly <br />direction to the prolongation of the centerline of Minnie Street extended <br />in a southerly direction; thence running northerly on and along said <br />prolongation of the centerline of Minnie Street to the southerly line <br />of George Street extended easterly in a straight line; thence on and <br />along the extension of the southerly line of George Street and along <br />the southerly line of George Street 25 feet to the point of beginning; <br />being a portion of Villa Lot 12, as same is shown on "Map of the Town <br />of Mezesville", filed August 1, 1856 in Book 1 of Maps at page 79, <br />Records of San Mateo County, State of California. <br />PARCEL 3. <br />Beginning at the most northerly corner of Lot 22; as same is <br />shown on map of "James Street Addition", filed July 19, 1927, in <br />Book 16 of Maps at page 13, Records of San Mateo County, State of <br />California: thence from said point of beginning on and'along the east- <br />erly lines of Lots 22 and 21, South 40 491 30" East 50.96 feet to a <br />point in the southwesterly line of Minnie Street, as shown on above <br />mentioned map; thence running across "said Lot 21 on a prolongation <br />northwesterly of the southwesterly line of Minnie Street, as same is <br />shown on above mentioned map North 430 001 West 10.22 feet to a point; <br />thence continuing across Lots 21 and 22, above mentioned map,'on a line <br />parallel to and distant 25 feet westerly from the centerline of Minnie <br />Street produced in a straight line in a southerly direction and at a <br />right angle to the southerly line of Broadway 38.35 feet to a point in <br />the northerly line of said Lot 22, above mentioned map; thence on!and <br />along said northerly line of Lot 22 in a northeasterly direction'7.40 <br />feet to the point of beginning; being portions of Lots 21 and 22, as <br />same are shown on map of "James Street Addition", above described. <br />PARCEL 4. <br />Commencing at the point of intersection of the centerline of <br />Minnie Street with the southerly line of Broadway; thence at a right <br />angle southerly from the southerly line of Broadway on and along the <br />centerline of Minnie Street 200 feet to a point; thence at a right <br />angle easterly to a point which is distant 25 feet from said centerline <br />of Minnie Street, said last mentioned point being on the boundary line <br />of that certain parcel of land conveyed by deed from L.A.Richard et <br />Ux to Southern Pacific Railroad Company, filed for record in Volume <br />1 <br />1 <br />L <br />
