<br />acts amendatory thereof or supplemental thereto.
<br />The Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood City is here-
<br />by ordered and directed to post notices of the possage of this Resol-
<br />ution of Intention in time, form, manner and number as required by law,
<br />and he is also directed to cause to be published in the Redwood City
<br />Tribune, a daily newspaper published, printed and circulated in said
<br />City of Redwood City, and hereby designated for that purpose by the
<br />Council of said City, a notice of the passage of said Resolution of
<br />Intention No. M-3 similar in substance to the notices ordered posted
<br />as aforesaid, and for the period required by law.
<br />And notice is hereby given that all persons interested and
<br />objecting to said work may make written objections thereto in time,
<br />form and manner as provided by the hereinbefore mentioned act of the
<br />Legislature of the State of California under which this work is
<br />carried on.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City
<br />at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of April, 1930:

<br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION M-4
<br />Upon motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant,
<br />affidavit of Posting Notices to Destroy Weeds, Resolution M-4, by
<br />C. L. Dimmitt was received and filed.
<br />Councilmen McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dusel, thereupon offered the
<br />following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br />RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE M-4.
<br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did, on the 17th
<br />day of March, 1930, pass and adopt hesolution Declaring Nuisance No. M-4,
<br />in which Resolution it was declared that noxious or dangerous weeds were
<br />growing upon all the streets, avenues, roads, boulevards, highways and
<br />sidewalks in said City of Hedwood City and upon all the lots and property
<br />in said City of Redwood City, which weeds are of a kind which bear seeds
<br />of a wingy or downy nature and will attain such large growth as to become
<br />a fire menace when dry, and that said weeds constitute a public nuisance.
<br />AND WHEREAS, after the passage of said Resolution Declaring
<br />Nuisande No. M-4 the Street Superintendent of the City of Redwood City
<br />duly and regularly posted notices of the passage of said resolution in
<br />time, form, manner and number as required by law.
<br />AND WHEREAS, at the time fixed in said notices and in said reso-
<br />lution when objections to the removal of such weeds_will be heard and
<br />given consideration by the Council of said City of Redwood City, no -ob-
<br />jections of any kind were made against the removal of such weeds, and
<br />said Council now having acquired jurisdiction thereon:
<br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED bthe Council of the City of Redwood
<br />City that the Superintendent of Streets of said City be and he is here-
<br />by ordered and directed to abate the nuisance existing as specified in
