<br />said subdivision is hereinbefore

<br />the end of the sewer already built
<br />at a point which is distant 159
<br />feet westerly along said alley from
<br />the southwesterly line of Perry
<br />Street and extending northwesterly
<br />therefrom and distant five (5)
<br />feet southerly from and parallel
<br />to the northerly side of said alley
<br />a distance of 403 feet; and also
<br />that three (3) brick manholes with
<br />cast iron frames and covers be
<br />constructed along the line of said
<br />sewer in said alley; and also that
<br />twelve (12), four (4) inch vitrified
<br />salt glazed tile pipe sewer laterals
<br />be constructed along the line of
<br />said sewer to be constructed in
<br />'said alley and extending from
<br />the main sewer to be constructed
<br />as herein provided to the north-
<br />erly property line of said alley.
<br />That a strip of pavement on EI
<br />Camino Real at the termination of
<br />George Street eight (8) feet in
<br />width and 71.97 feet in length be
<br />removed and be replaced with a
<br />cement concrete pavement six (6)
<br />inches In thickness laid upon a
<br />base of broken stone three (3)
<br />inches in thickness after rolling,
<br />with a cushion of sand one (1)
<br />inch in thickness laid between
<br />said broken stone base and said
<br />concrete pavement.
<br />That a twelve (12) inch cement
<br />concrete storm water sewer be
<br />constructed from the three (3)
<br />foot by five (5) foot concrete cul-
<br />vert to be constructed across Min-
<br />nie Street as hereinbefore pro-
<br />vided to a point on the northerly
<br />curb return on the southwesterly
<br />side of Perry Street at Broadway,
<br />said storm water sewer to be laid
<br />on a line parallel to and distant
<br />three and one-half (3h/s) feet west-
<br />erly from the westerly curb line
<br />of Minnie Street and along the ex-
<br />tension of said line across Broad-
<br />way, said cement concrete storm
<br />water sewer to be provided with
<br />three (3) cement concrete catch
<br />basins with cast iron frames and
<br />gratings, one of said catch basins
<br />to be built on the line of said
<br />sewer at the northerly curb line of
<br />Broadway, one of such catch ba-
<br />sins to be built on the line of said
<br />sewer at the southerly curb line
<br />of Broadway, and one of such
<br />catch basins to be built on the line
<br />of said sewer at the northerly curb
<br />line of George Street.
<br />The width of the streets, ave-
<br />nues and alleys hereinbefore men-
<br />tioned, and the width of the road.

<br />tablished or adopted prior to the
<br />adoption by the Council of the
<br />City of Redwood City of the plans,
<br />profiles, detailed drawings and
<br />specifications hereinafter referred
<br />to herein shall be adopted, and
<br />such official and different and
<br />prior grades shall be modified and
<br />are hereby modified and ehangeo
<br />so that the official grades shall
<br />be and conform to the grades as
<br />shown on the plans, profiles and
<br />detailed drawings for said work
<br />and improvement, which plans,
<br />profiles and detailed drawings
<br />were heretofore adopted by the
<br />Council of the City of Redwood
<br />City on the 7th day of April, 1930,
<br />by "Resolution Adopting Plans,
<br />Profiles and Specifications No.
<br />M-7;' which plans, profiles, de-
<br />tailed drawings and specifications
<br />are now on file in the office of
<br />the Clerk of the City of Redwood
<br />City and to which plans, profiles,
<br />detailed drawings, and specifica-
<br />tions reference is hereby made and
<br />the same are made a part hereof
<br />All grades between points as
<br />shown on said plans, profiles and
<br />detailed drawings shall be a
<br />straight line. All such grades and
<br />elevations herein established are
<br />In feet and decimals thereof above
<br />the City Base of the City of Red-
<br />wood City.
<br />All the hereinbefore and herein-
<br />above mentioned and described
<br />work and improvements are to be
<br />done and made at the locations
<br />and positions and of the sizes and
<br />dimensions and of the materials
<br />as shown and described on the
<br />plans, profiles, detailed drawings
<br />and specifications adopted by the
<br />Council of the City of Redwood
<br />City on the 7th day of April, 1930,
<br />and now on file in the office of
<br />the Clerk of said City, to which
<br />plans, profiles, detailed drawings
<br />and specifications reference is
<br />hereby made for a complete de-
<br />scription and location of <aid work
<br />and Improvements and for further
<br />particulars„ and the same are
<br />made a part hereof.
<br />And the Council of the City of
<br />Redwood City does hereby deter-
<br />mine and declare that the fore-
<br />going described work and Improve -I
<br />mania are of more than local or
<br />ordinary public benefit and will )
<br />affect and benefit the lands and
<br />district hereinafter mentioned,
<br />which said district is hereby de-
<br />clared to be the district benefited
<br />by said work and improvements; ,
<br />that therefore the entire costs and'
<br />expenses of said work and im-'
<br />provements shall be and are here- I
<br />by made chargeable against and
<br />shall be assessed upon said lands'

<br />Council of the City of Redwood
<br />City on the 7th day of April, 1930,
<br />and which map or plat is now on:
<br />file in the office of the Clerk of,
<br />said City of Redwood City, and
<br />to which map or plat reference is
<br />hereby made for an accurate and
<br />complete description and location
<br />of said assessment district and the
<br />same is made a part hereof; pro-
<br />vided, however, that all streets and
<br />avenues and alleys or portions
<br />thereof included within said as-
<br />sesstnent district and shown on
<br />the map thereof shall be omitted
<br />from any assessment levied for the
<br />costs and expenses of the work
<br />aforesaid, said streets and ave-
<br />nues and alleys and portions there-
<br />of now being in public use as
<br />public streets and avenues and
<br />alleys.
<br />There is hereby excepted from
<br />the work and improvements afore-
<br />said any thereof that is already
<br />done to the lines and grades as
<br />shown on the plans, profiles, de-
<br />tailed drawings and specifications
<br />,herein referred to.
<br />ATOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
<br />that serial bonds to represent un-
<br />paid assessments and bear interest
<br />at the rate of seven (7) per cent
<br />per annum will be issued hereun-
<br />der in the manner provided by the
<br />Improvement Bond Act of 1915 of
<br />the State of California, as amend-
<br />ed, the last installment of which
<br />bonds shall mature and be payable
<br />nine (0) years from the second
<br />day of July next succeeding ten
<br />(10) months from their date. Ex-
<br />cept as herein provided for the
<br />issuance of serial bonds the work
<br />and improvements herein describ-
<br />ed shall be done and made pur-
<br />suant to the provisions of the
<br />"Improvement Act of 1911" of the
<br />State of California, as amended
<br />and now in effect.
<br />AND NOTICE IS HEREBY
<br />GIVEN that Monday, the 5th day

<br />Council Chamber of the Council

<br />fixed as the clay, hour and place
<br />when and where any and all per-
<br />sons having any objections to the
<br />proposed work and improvements
<br />described herein, or to the modi-
<br />fied and changed grades at which
<br />said work and improvements are
<br />to be done and made, or to the
<br />district to be assessed for said
<br />work and improvements, may ap-
<br />pear before said Council of the
<br />City of Redwood City and show
<br />cause why said proposed work and
<br />Improvements should not be car-
<br />ried out in accordance with said
<br />Resolution of Intention No. M-7,
<br />or why said work and Improve-
<br />ments should not be carried out
<br />and done at the modified, changed
<br />'and established grades as shown
<br />on the plans, profiles and detailed.

<br />The Redwood City Tribune, a
<br />daily newspaper published, printed
<br />and circulated in said City of Red-
<br />wood City, is hereby designated
<br />as the newspaper in which to pub-
<br />lish this Resolution of Intention as
<br />required by law, and the Clerk of
<br />the City of Redwood City is here-
<br />by ordered and directed to cause,
<br />this Resolution of Intention to be
<br />published in said newspaper twice'
<br />as required by law.
<br />The Street Superintendent of the
<br />City of Redwood City shall cause
<br />notices of the passage of this
<br />Resolution of Intention to be
<br />posted in time, form, manner and
<br />number as required by law.
<br />Reference is hereby made to the
<br />patent license agreement of Me-
<br />Everlast, Incorporated, dated the
<br />12th day of October, 1928, and now
<br />on file in the office of the Clerk
<br />of the City of Redwood City, and
<br />the same is made a part hereof.

<br />crete Curing Inc. dated the 2nd
<br />day of December, 1929, and now
<br />on file in the office of the Clerk

<br />Street Lighting and Equipment
<br />Company of California, dated
<br />March 1st. 1930, and now on file
