<br />that the official elevations for the street grades of said streets and avenues
<br />hereinbefore mentioned, crown grades, curb grades and grade elevations for top
<br />of gutters be changed and grades different from those established or adopted
<br />prior to the adoption by the Council of said City of Redwood City of the plans,
<br />profiles, detailed dravrings and specifications adopted by this resolution shall
<br />be adopted, and such official and different and prior grades shall be modified
<br />and are here}y modified and changed so that the official grades shall be and
<br />conform to the official grades as shown on said plans, profiles, detailed draw-
<br />ings and specifications adopted by this resolution, which plans, profiles,
<br />detailed drawings and specifications are now on file in the office of
<br />the Clerk of the City of Redwood City. All of the work and improvements
<br />herein described shall be done and made to the neer official grades as
<br />shown on said plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications
<br />adopted by this resolution, to which plans, profiles, detailed dravrings
<br />and specifications reference is hereby made for a description of the
<br />grades at which said work is to'be done and said improvements made and
<br />the same are made a part hereof. All grades between points as shown on
<br />said plans, profiles and detailed drawings shall be a straight line.
<br />All such grades and elevations herein established are in feet and
<br />decimals thereof above the City Base of the City of Redwood City.
<br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the width of the streets and
<br />avenues herein mentioned and described, and the width of the roadways of
<br />said streets and avenues, and the width of the sidewalks of said streets
<br />and avenues are to be and are as shown upon the plans, profiles;
<br />detailed drawings and specifications adopted by this resolution.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at
<br />a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of June, 1930, by the
<br />following vote:

<br />and moved its adoption;
<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS; PROFILES AND SPECIFICATIONS 140. M-8.
<br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo,
<br />State of California, that C.L.Dimmitt, City Engineer of said City, be and he is hereby
<br />ordered to prepare plans, profiles, detailed drawings, specifications and estimates
<br />for doing the following work and making the following improvements in said City, to -brit:
<br />That Chestnut Street iR the City
<br />of Redwood City' from the north-
<br />easterly line of Heller Street
<br />northeasterly to the' southwosterly
<br />iline of the .Middlefield 'Road and
<br />from the northeasterly line of the
<br />Middlefield Road northeasterly to
<br />the southwesterly line of Stam-
<br />baugh Streetand also that por-
<br />tion of the intersection of ,Cheat
<br />nut Street with Stambaugh Street
<br />lying between the southeasterly
<br />'line of Chestnut Street extended
<br />northeasterly %erose Stambaugh
<br />Street and a line'- parallel to: and
<br />'distant two 4(2) feet southeasterly
<br />'from the southeasterly rail of the
<br />Southern Pacific Railroad Com-
<br />pany's spur track; excepting how,
