That cement concrete combined curb and gutter be constructed on both sides of Broadway from the center line of Washington Street to the center line of Main Street, excepting the concrete bridge on Broadway, and on Main Street from Broadway to Maple Street, tine curb portion of said cement concrete' combined curb and gutter to be six inches across the top and fourtuen inches sleep and the gutter prtien of said cement concrete combined curb and glitter to be five feet wide and to be eight inches thick, aid said cement concrete curb and gutter to be built and constructed at one time so that there shall be no joint between tlna curb and gutter. E. Catalog No. 4x563 type 1L. trans- formers in base the elecholiers to be r'gidly anchored ht concrete foolhngs thirty Inches square by thir'y inehea deep, and all con- dult, cable, wiring and appurte- nances necessary to complete tine lighting system and put sante into complete working order,' The elecholiers or standards above mentioned shall be connect- ed in four circuits and said elec- trolderst and lamps shall be rim to and connect with four trans- formers, two to be furnished by Lite contractor but to be installed by the Town of Redwood City, one transformer to be installed upon the existing pole on the easterly side of Winslow Sheet near the northerly line of Broadway and the other transformer to be in- stalled upon the existing pole 01, the easterly side of Jefferson Ave. nue near the southerly line of Webster Street, the other two transformers being at present in- stalled in basement at City Hall. There Is included do the work hereunder in the construction of said lighting system all intersec- tions anti terminations on. said portions of Broadway and Alain Street herein described, That one hundred forty (1.10) feet of electrical'conduit and cable be laid on the northeasterly side of Arguello Street from the north. orly line of Broadway to connect with the pole at said point, and also that eighty (30) feet of else- tricai conduit and cable be laid on the easterly side of Wash'ng ton St'oet from the northerly line of Broadway to connect with the pole at said point. And that electrical conduit and cable be constructed across Bl'ottd- way and Alain Street at the fol lowing places, to -wit: (1) from the northerly to lite southerly side of Broadway at Arguello Street; (2) from the northerly to the southerly shle of Broadway at Websto• _Street; (3) from the northerly to the southerly side of Broadway one hundred ten (110) feet westerly from Alain Street; (4) across Alain street from the easterly to the westerly sides thereof at Stambaugh Street; (5) and across Main Sheet from the easterly to tine westerly sides thereof at Maple Street. That electrical conduit and cable be laid el the northerly side of Webster Street from Alain Street to tine electrical manhole in froth of the City Hall. The lighting system to be con structed on Broadway and Main Street as herein provided for shall be connected to the present elec- trolier system now fn use at both ends of said new system and also at 'Webster Street. Said elecholiers, conduit cable, :amps, globes, cutouts, wiring transformers and lighting system complete shall be constructed at the places, in the positions and locations and of the sizes, dinnen- sions and materials as provided for and in accordance with tine plans, profiles detailed drawings and specifications hereinafter re- ferred to hu•edn. That the concrete floor slab, beans and girders of the concrete bridge on Broadway from and In- cluding the southerly curb to the sou.herly property line of said Broadway be rennoved, and also a portion of the floor slab and the curb at the northeasterly corner of said concrete bridge be re- moved, and these portions of said bridge to be reconstructed to agree with the new lines for the roadway of Broadway, and all in accordance with the detailed de• signs as shown on the plans, pro- files and specifications hereinaf- ter referred to. That Broadway from the center line of ;lashingtol Street to Main S reet, and ]Iain Street from the northerly line of Broadway to Alaple Sheet be improved by hav- Ing cement concrete sidewalk con- structed thereon where the ce- ment concrete s'dewalk has been removed as hereinbefore specified, said sidewalk to extend from the cement concrete curb to be built as herein provided to the existing concrete sidewalk on both sides of said portions of Broadway and Main Street hereinbefore men- tioned, said sidewalk to be four inches thick.
