i publicly opened, examined and declared by the Council of said City of <br />i' Redwood City at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 21st day <br />of July, 1930, <br />I <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redti'rood City <br />at the hour of 9:50 o'clock P.M. at a regular meeting thereof <br />held on the 7th day of July, 1930, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, <br />Councilmen: H. A. Beeger, 71. J. Duse1, C. J. Hildebrant, E. B. Hinman, <br />P. A. McCarthy, G. W. McNulty, D. R. Stafford. <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution, <br />I Councilmen: NONE. MRS <br />Clerk of the City of Redwood City. <br />I hereby approve the foregoing resolution this 7th day of July, <br />{ 1930. <br />I <br />DANIEL R. STAFFORD <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />-----M-10----- <br />Petitions requesting double light electroliers on portions of Brewster and Broadway and <br />single light electroliers on portions of Broadway and Hopkins were received and ordered <br />filed. <br />License agreement of the Street Lighting and Equipment Company was'ordered received and filed. <br />Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, offered the following Resolution and <br />moved its adoption; <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS, PROFILES AND SPECIFICATIONS NO. M-10. <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, County of San <br />Mateo, State of California, that C.L. Dinnitt, City Engineer of said City, <br />be and he is here by ordered to prepare plans, profiles, detailed drawings, <br />specifications and estimates for doing the following work and making <br />the following improvements in said City, to -wit: <br />That the two (2) existing electroliers on the south side of Broad- <br />way between E1 Camino Real and Brewster Avenuo'be removed; that Broadway <br />between E1 Camino Real and Brewster Avenue, Brewster Avenue between E1 <br />Camino Real and Broadway and Arch Street between Broadway and Brewster Ave- <br />nue be improved by having constructed thereon seventeen (17) two (2) light <br />electroliers with 30" x 30" x30" concrete bases, said two (2) light <br />electroliers to be Union Metal Manufacturing Company design No. 8092, built <br />to obtain a light center of seventeen (17) feet nine (9) inches measured - <br />from the sidewalk line with two (2) G.E. form 12 Novalux units, catalog'No. <br />257693; said ti -to light electroliers to be equipped with 400 C.P. 20 amp. <br />Mazda Series Lamps, together with all conduit, cable, wiring and appurtenances <br />necessary to complete said lighting system and put same into complete work- <br />ing order, are hereby included herein. <br />That Broadway from Brewster Avenue to Hopkins Avenue, Hopkins Avenue <br />from E1 Camino Real to Iris Street and Duane Street from Broadway to Hopkins <br />Avenue be improved by having constructed thereon thirty-seven (37) single <br />light electroliers, said electroliers to be Union Metal Manufacturing Company <br />design No. 807, constructed upon a concrete base 28" x 28" x 24", and built <br />to obtain a light center of fourteen (14) feet six (6) inches from the side- <br />walk. Each niggle light electrolier shall be equipped with one Catalog No. <br />258985 Form 12 G.E. Novalux Unit with a 400 C.P. 20 amp. Mazda Series Lamp, <br />together with all conduit, cable, wiring and appurtenances necessary to <br />complete said lighting system and put same into complete working order, are <br />hereby included herein. <br />There shall also be furnished for said lighting system the follow- <br />ing G.E. Novalux constant current pole type transformers with suspension <br />hooks, as follows: One (1) catalog No. 286186 transformer normal rating <br />10 K.W. with forty (40) gallons of insulating oil; One (1) catalog No. <br />2�9 <br />
