<br />be improved as follows, to -wit:
<br />1. That the above mentioned
<br />and described streets, avenues and
<br />portions thereof be graded for
<br />their full widths and for the
<br />lengths herinbefore mentioned and
<br />that the roadways thereof be
<br />paved with a cement concrete
<br />pavement five (5) Inches In thick-
<br />ness laid upon a base or cushion
<br />of broken stone three (3) inches
<br />In thickness after rolling with a
<br />cushion of sand one (1) inch in
<br />thickness laid between said broken
<br />stone base and said cement con-
<br />crete pavement, provided, however,
<br />that said cement concrete pave-
<br />ment shall have a thickness of
<br />seven (7) inches along the center-
<br />line thereof and along the center-
<br />line of all Intersecting streets and
<br />taper to a thickness of five (5)
<br />Inches at points three (3) feet on
<br />each side of said centerlines.
<br />2. That integral cement concrete
<br />curbs be constructed on both sides
<br />of the streets and avenues and
<br />portions thereof hereinbefore de-
<br />scribed and within the above de-
<br />scribed limits and also upon the
<br />corners of all intersecting and
<br />terminating streets and avenues
<br />and portions thereof within the
<br />lines hereinbefore mentioned and
<br />described and said cement concrete
<br />curbs integral with the pavement
<br />shall be six (6) inches across the
<br />top and eleven (11) Inches deep,
<br />said Integral curb to be laid upon
<br />a base or cushion of broken stone
<br />three (3) inches in thickness after
<br />rolling with a cushion of sand
<br />one (1) inch in thickness laid be.
<br />tween said"broken stone base and
<br />said Integral curb to be built as
<br />herein provided.
<br />3. That Ruby Street be Improved
<br />by having a four (4) foot by five
<br />(5) foot reinforced cement concrete i
<br />box culvert 60.08 feet long and lying
<br />across said Ruby Street at an
<br />angle of 560 191 to the centerline'
<br />westerly from the southeasterly
<br />thereof and the centerline of said
<br />line of Madison Avenue; thence
<br />culvert to be on the production
<br />on a line distant five (5) feet
<br />in a straight line westerly of the
<br />northwesterly and parallel to the
<br />centerline of the easement through
<br />southeasterly line of Madison Ave -
<br />Block 8, New High School Acres;
<br />nue to the southwesterly curb line
<br />said abovementioned four (4) foot
<br />of Nevada Street; thence on a
<br />by five (5) foot reinforced ce-
<br />curve across Nevada Street to a
<br />ment concrete box culvert to be
<br />point distant five (5) feet south -
<br />paved with an asphaltic concrete

<br />box storm water culvert and all
<br />storm water inlets are to be re-
<br />inforced with steel as shown on
<br />the plans, profiles, detailed draw-
<br />ings and specifications referred
<br />to herein.
<br />7. That the existing sewers along
<br />the centerlines of Ruby Street,
<br />Quartz Street and Madison Ave-
<br />nue be Iowered as shown on the
<br />plans, profiles, detailed drawings
<br />and specifications to accommodate
<br />the four (4) foot by five (5) foot
<br />box storm water culvert herein-
<br />before ordered, and that one (1)
<br />cast iron pipe eight (8) inches ini
<br />diameter and twelve (12) feet in',
<br />length be provided and placed at'
<br />the sewer crossing under said
<br />culvert on Madison Avenue, and
<br />one (1) cast iron pipe six (6)
<br />Inches in diameter and twelve (12)
<br />feet in length be provided and
<br />placed at the sewer crossing under
<br />the culvert to be built on Ruby
<br />street and also one (1) cast iron
<br />pipe six (6) inches in diameter and
<br />twelve (12) feet in Iength be pro-
<br />vided and placed at the sewer
<br />crossing under the culvert on Ne-
<br />vada Street.
<br />8. That four (4), four (4) inch
<br />vitrified salt glazed tile pipe sewer
<br />laterals be constructed from the
<br />main sewer now in place along the
<br />centerline of Quartz Street said
<br />four (4) laterals to extend from
<br />the main sewer to the northeaster-
<br />ly property, line of Quartz Street;
<br />that twelve (12), four (4) inch-
<br />vitrified
<br />nchvitrified salt glazed tile pipe sewer
<br />laterals be constructed from the
<br />main sewer now in place along
<br />the centerline of Madison Avenue,
<br />said twelve (12) four (4) inch
<br />vitrified salt glazed tile pipe sewer
<br />laterals be constructed from the
<br />main sewer now in place along the
<br />centerline of Madison Avenue, said
<br />twelve (12) laterals to extend from
<br />the main sewer to the southeaster-
<br />ly property line of Madison Ave-
<br />nue. That four (4), four (4) inch
<br />vitrified salt glazed tile pipe sewer
<br />laterals be constructed from the
<br />main sewer now in place along
<br />the centerline of Nevada Street,
<br />said four (4) laterals to extend
<br />from the main sewer to the north-
<br />easterly property line of Nevada
<br />Street. All of the above men-
<br />tioned four (4) inch laterals to be
<br />connected to their respective main
<br />sewers at the wyes from which
<br />the existing laterals at these loca-
<br />tions are to be removed.
<br />There is however excepted from
<br />the cement concrete pavement and
<br />Integral curb hereinbefore ordered
<br />to be built on Ramona Avenue
<br />twelve (12) feet at the location
<br />of the bridge to be built thereon
<br />as more fully shown on the plans,
<br />profiles, detailed drawings and
<br />specifications.
<br />The City will pay out of Its 1930
<br />bond fund the sum of Seven Thou-
<br />sand ($7,000) Dollars towards the
<br />costs of the improvements de-
<br />scribed herein In paragraphs num-
<br />bered 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8,
