WE <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR ADJOURNED FETING <br />REIPOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 289 1930 <br />8 P.M. <br />Upon roll call there were present: Councilmen Mayor D. R. Stafford, H. A. Beeger, <br />W. J. Dusel, C. J. Hildebrant, G. W. I3cNulty. City Clerk B. E. Myers. Absent: <br />Councilmen P. A. McCarthy, E. B. Hinman. <br />A Mr. Luiz Belarbee appeared before the Council to ask in regard to the charge for <br />license to run a three day vaudeville show. Upon motion of Councilman Beeger, <br />seconded by Councilman McNulty, it was decided to make the charge ten (10) dollars <br />per -day for each of the three days. <br />The Clerk read a letter from the City Assessor asking that certain valuations on Main <br />Street be adjusted. <br />-----M-8----- <br />The City Engineer reported that he had no recommendation to make in regard to accepting <br />the bid made by Mr.•Dontanville and upon motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by <br />Councilman Dusel, the bid was rejected and the Clerk instructed to readvertise for <br />new bids. <br />-----i 9 ----- <br />The City Engineer reported that he had no recommendation to make in regard to accepting <br />the bid made by Lir. Dontanville and upon motion of Councilman Hildebrant, seconded by <br />Councilman McNulty, the bid was rejected and the Clerk instructed to readvertise for <br />new bids. <br />Councilman Beeger, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, offered the following resolution <br />accepting deed from the Grammar School for certain portions of streets and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Reldwood City that <br />the hereunto annexed deed, dated the 26th day of June, 1930, and <br />made between the Redwood City Grammar School District of the County <br />of San Mateo, first party, and the City of Redwood_City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, second party, be and the same <br />is hereby accepted by the City of Redwood City and the Clerk of this <br />Council is hereby ordered to have the same recorded in the office of <br />the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California. <br />I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and <br />regularly passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood <br />City at a regular adjourned meeting held on the 28th day of July, <br />1930, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution, <br />pouncilmen: H. A. Beeger, W. J. Dusel, C. J. Hildebrant, G. Yl. McNulty, <br />D. R. Stafford. <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing resolution, <br />Councilmen: NONE. <br />Absent, Councilmen: E. B.
