<br />of the roadways of said streets,
<br />and the width of the sidewalks of
<br />said streets are to be and are as
<br />shown on the plans, profiles, and
<br />detailed drawings hereinafter re-
<br />ferred to herein.
<br />That the official elevations for
<br />the street grades of said streets
<br />hereinbefore mentioned, crown
<br />grades, curb grades and grade
<br />elevations for top of gutters be
<br />changed and grades different from
<br />those established or adopted prior
<br />to the adoption by the Council of
<br />the Town of Redwood City of the
<br />plans, profiles, detailed drawings
<br />and specifications hereinafter re-
<br />ferred to herein shall be adopted,
<br />and such official and different
<br />and prior grades shall be modi-
<br />fied and are hereby modified and
<br />changed so that the official
<br />grades shall be and conform to
<br />the grades as shown on the plans,
<br />profiles and detailed drawings for
<br />said work and improvements,
<br />which plans, profiles and detailed
<br />drawings were heretofore adopted
<br />by the Council of the Town of
<br />Redwood City on the 26th day of
<br />November, 1928, by "Resolution
<br />Adopting Plans, Profiles and
<br />Specifications No. Ii -12", which
<br />plans, profiles, detailed drawings
<br />and specifications are now on
<br />file in the office of the Clerk of
<br />the Town of Redwood City and
<br />to which plans, profiles, detailed
<br />drawings and specifications refer=
<br />ence• Is hereby made for a de-
<br />scription of the grades at which
<br />said work is to be done and said
<br />improvements made and the same
<br />are made ar part hereof.
<br />All the hereinbefore and here-
<br />inabove mentioned and described
<br />work and Improvements are to be
<br />done and made at the locations
<br />and positions anti of the sizes and
<br />dimensions and of the materials
<br />as shown and described on the
<br />plans, profiles, - detailed drawings
<br />and specifications adopted by the
<br />Council of the Town of Redwood
<br />City oft the 26th day of Novem-
<br />ber, 1928, and now on file In the
<br />office of the Clerk of said Town,
<br />to which plans, profiles, detailed
<br />drawings and specifications refer-
<br />ence is hereby made for a com-
<br />plete description and location of
<br />said work and improvements and
<br />for further particulars, and the
<br />same are made a part hereof.
<br />And the Council of the Town
<br />of Redwood City does hereby de-
<br />termine and declare that the fore-
<br />gohig, described work and Im-
<br />provements are of more than lo-
<br />cal or ordinary public benefit and
<br />will affect and benefit the lands
<br />and district hereinafter men-
<br />tioned,
<br />eqtioned, which said district is here-
<br />by
<br />ereby declared to be the district ben-
<br />efited by said work and improve-
<br />ments; that therefore the entire
<br />costs and expenses of said work
<br />and improvements shall be and
<br />are hereby made chargeable;
<br />against and shall be assessed
<br />upon said lands and district,
<br />which district is within the limits
<br />of the Town of Redwood City,
<br />County of San Mateo, State of
<br />California, and said district is de
<br />scribed and shown on a certain -
<br />map or plat entitled "Map Show -
<br />Ing Assessment District under
<br />Resolution of Intention No. K-12",
<br />which map or plat was adopted
<br />and approved by the Council of
<br />the Town of Redwood City on the
<br />26th day of November, 1928, and
<br />which map or plat is now on file
<br />In the office of the Clerk of said
<br />Town of Redwood City, and to
<br />which map or plat reference is
<br />hereby made for an accurate and
<br />complete description and location
<br />of said assessment district and
<br />the same is made a part hereof;
<br />provided, however, that all streets
<br />and avenues or portions thereof
<br />included within said assessment
<br />district and shown on the map
<br />tnereof shall be omitted from any
<br />assessment levied for the costs
<br />and expenses of the work afore-
<br />said, Haid streets and avenues
<br />and portions thereof now being
<br />in public use as public streets
<br />and avenues.
<br />There is hereby excepted from
<br />the work and improvements afore-
<br />said any_thereof that is already
<br />done to the lines and grades as
<br />shown on the plans, profiles, de-
<br />tailed drawings and specifications
<br />herein referred to.
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
<br />that serial bonds to represent un-
<br />paid assessments and bear inter-
<br />est at the rate of seven (7%) per
<br />cent per annum shall be issued
<br />hereunder in the manner pro-
<br />vide] by the Improvement Bond
<br />Art of 1915 of the State of Cali-
<br />fornia, as amended, the last In-
<br />stallment of which bonds shall
<br />mature and he .payable nine (9)
<br />years from the second day of
<br />July next succeeding ten (10)
<br />months from their date. Except
<br />as herein provided for the issu-
<br />ance of serial bonds the work and
<br />improvements herein described
<br />shall be done and made pursuant
<br />to the provisions of the "Improve-,
<br />ment Act of 1911' of the State
