<br />someone from the Council be appoi-nted to servo was referred to Mayor Stafford.
<br />Application of J. A. I%artin of Redwood City for license to conduct the business of
<br />electrical contractor was granted, upon motion: of Councilman Dusel, seconded
<br />by Councilman Hildebrant.
<br />The ordinance regulating miniature golf courses came up for discussion and, upon
<br />motion. of Councilman 11cCarthy, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, the affidavit
<br />of publication was ordered filed. Then, upon motion of Councilman Beeger,
<br />seconded by Councilman Dusel, this Ordinance was formally adopted. (For complete

<br />Upon motion of Councilmar_ McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Iiildebrant, affidavits of
<br />publication and posting eiere ordered filed.
<br />There being no protests, Coimci'lman I::cCarthy, seconded by Councilman Beeger, offered
<br />resolution orderinu the work as follows:
<br />RESOLUTION ORDERIIIG THE WORK ON M-14.
<br />RESOLVED, THAT WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City
<br />did, on the 25th day of August, 1930, pass and adopt Resolution of Inten-
<br />tion Ido. 1:-14 to order the hereinafter described work to be done and
<br />improvements to be made in said City of Redwood City; and
<br />WEEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention
<br />No. V-14, headed "NOTICES OF I111PROVFI,0TT", were duly and regularly posted
<br />along the line of said contemplated work and improvements and In front
<br />of all the property liable to be assessed therefor, and on all of the
<br />streets in the district to be assessed therefor, in time, form, manner
<br />and number as required by law, as appears from the affidavits of C.L.
<br />Dimmitt, Superintendent of Streets of the City of Redwood City, and J.D.
<br />,.:cCrea, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said City; and
<br />WHEREAS, as appears from the affidavits of said C.L.Diirimitt and
<br />J.D. McCrea, hereinbefore referred to herein, that the posting of said
<br />notices of improvement as aforesaid was completed on the 4th day of
<br />September, 1930, and
<br />MIEREC:S, in and by said Resolution of Intention No. 11-14 and the
<br />notices of the, passage thereof posted as aforesaid, said Council of the
<br />City of Redwood City fixed Londay, the 18th day of September, 1930, at
<br />the hour of 8:00 o1clock P.K. of said day, at the meeting place of said
<br />Council, in the Council Chamber in the City hall on Webster Street in
<br />said City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, as
<br />the day, hour and place when and where any an,' all persons having any
<br />objections to ':he proposed work an,? improvements described in said Resol-
<br />ution of Intention No. U-14, or to the district to be assessed for said
<br />work and i,nprovenents, or to the v roposed trades at which said work and
<br />improvements are to be done and made, could appear before said Council
