<br />are to be done and made, could appear before the Council of said City of.
<br />Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and improvements
<br />should not be carried out in accordance with Resolution of Intention No.
<br />M-14, or why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried
<br />out and done at the proposed grades as shown on the plans, profiles,
<br />detailed drawings and specifications referred to in said Resolution of
<br />Intention No. M-14 and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said
<br />City of Redwood City, no person or persons appeared and no objections of
<br />any kind were made against -said work and improvements described in said
<br />Resolution of Intention No. M-14 or to the extent of the district to be
<br />assessed therefor, and said Council now leaving acquired jurisdiction to
<br />order said work and improvements:
