Profiles and Specifications for the storm servers on <br />El Camino Real, part of the recent bond issue, and upon motion of Councilman <br />Beeger, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, the Plans, Profiles and Specifications <br />were approved and the Clerk was instructed to call for bids to do this work to be <br />opened at 3:00 o'clock PM, October 6th in the office of the City Manager. <br />The City Engineer submitted tentative plans for the construction of a storm sewer in <br />Central Fark to take care of the superfluous water which flows into the City <br />from Oak Knoll Manor. Upon motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman <br />Hinman, the plans of the City Engineer were ordered filed. The City Engineer <br />recommended that an assessment district be formed to take care of the cost of the <br />' work but as part of this district would be outside of the City limits it was <br />suggested that the City Engineer,' Manager and Attorney ask the Board of Super- <br />visors of San Mateo County to initiate proceedings to do this work so that <br />the property owners outside of the city might, through County proceedings, be <br />asked to contribute their share toward the construction of the storm sewers. <br />Councilman Hildebrant, seconded by Councilman McNulty, offered the following resolution <br />fixing and establishing the tax rate for the current tax year; <br />RESOLUTION FIXING TAX RATE FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD C1TY <br />FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1930-1931. , <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the <br />rate of taxes for the fiscal year 1930-1931 for the payment of the water <br />works bonds of said city, falling due and becoming payable during said <br />year, together with the interest thereon, be and the same is hereby fixed <br />at five mills; and <br />Be it further resolved that the rate of taxes for the fiscal year <br />1930-1931 for the payment of the electric light bonds of said city, falling <br />due and become payable during said year, together with the interest thereon, <br />Ell be and the same is hereby fixed at five mills (the foregoing taxes to be <br />raised exclusively from property in the City of Redwood City as the bound- <br />aries of said City existed prior to the 28th day of May, 1903, the date <br />when additunal territory was annexed thereto and not otherwise), and <br />Be it further resolved that the rate of taxes for the fiscal year <br />1930-1931 for the payment of the municipal improvement bonds of 1904 of <br />said city, falling due and becoming payable during said year., together <br />with the interest thereon, be and the same is hereby fixed at three cents <br />and five mills, and <br />Be it further resolved that the rate of taxes for'the fiscal year <br />1930-1931 for the payment of the municipal improvement bonds of 1010 of <br />said city, falling due and becoin�'payable during'said,.year; together <br />with the interest thereon, be and the same is hereby fixed at two cents, <br />and <br />Be it further resolved that the rate of taxes for the fiscal year <br />1930-1931 for the payment of the mjnicipal improvement bonds of 1912 of <br />305 <br />
