308, <br />I <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />RE13NOOD CITY COUNCIL v <br />OCT. 6, 1930. <br />7:30 PM <br />Upon roll call there were present, Councilmen Beeger, Dusel, Hildebrant, Hinman, McNulty, <br />McCarthy and Mayor Stafford. Absent: City Clerk, B E Myers. <br />Upon motion of Councilman Beeger, seconded by Councilman Hinman, Councilman Dusel was <br />appointed Clerk pro -tem. <br />Minutes of the meeting held September 15th were approved on motion of Councilman Beeger, <br />seconded by Councilman McNulty. <br />Communication received from the Planning Commission approving the application of May <br />Walter for a gasoline service station at the northwest corner of State Highway and <br />Wellesley Avenue, was received and filed. Upon motion of Councilman Hinman, <br />seconded by Councilman Dusel, said application was granted. <br />Application of Associated Oil Company for a permit for a gasoline service station on <br />the Bayshore Highway at the corner of Middlefield Road, was on motion of Councilman <br />McNulty, seconded by Councilman Hinman, received and filed and laid over until the <br />next regular meeting for a report from the Planning Commission. <br />Moved by Councilman Beeger, seconded by Councilman McCarthy, and carried, that a <br />temporary permit be issued to B. Arata for the occupancy of the old Ford garage, <br />as a coal and fuel yard. <br />In the matter of Resolution of Intention No. M-14, affidavit of posting notice inviting <br />sealed proposals and affidavit of publication of the same were received and filed. <br />On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Beeger, the following bids <br />were then publicly opened, examined and declared by said Council, to -wit: <br />City <br />Improvement <br />Company <br />$70090.00 <br />Butte <br />Electric & <br />Mfg: Cc <br />7,341.00 <br />Hugo Frank 72299.00 <br />The said City Improvement Company being the lowest, regular, responsible bidder, <br />Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Beeger, offered Resolution of Award <br />No. M-14 for the construction of electroliers on a portion of Broadway, Brewster <br />Avenue and Arch Street, and moved its adoption; as follows: <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD NO. M-14. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did, in open session <br />on the 6th day of October, 1930, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed <br />proposals or bids for doing the following work and making the following im- <br />provements in said City of Redwood City, to -wit: <br />
