336 <br />�i <br />■3 <br />MINUTES OF ADJOURNED EIEETING <br />REUVOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />DEC. 8, 1930. <br />7:30 pm <br />Upon Roll Call, the following Councilmen were present: Mayor D R Stafford, W J Dusel, <br />C J Hildebrant, E B Hinman, P A McCarthy, G W McNulty, and City Clerk, B E Myers. <br />Absent: H A Beeger. <br />A delegation from the Emerald Lake District appeared before the Council in connection with <br />fire protection for that district and the following took part in the discussion - <br />Mr. Bowling, Mr. Garnett, Pairs. Agnes Weeds, and Fire Chief Ryan. It was finally <br />suggested that the interested property owners get together vrith a specific proposition. <br />Asa Hull made a short report concerning the Extension of 1:2ain Street. <br />Mr. Genzen asked information about the tree planting proposal and the City Attorney* explained <br />that the matter was covered by Resolution of Intention M-15 and would come up for a <br />hearing later. <br />Ms. Lincoln spoke of the need for a sidewalk along Woodside Road especially -in front of the <br />school building, explaining that efforts had been made to interest the property owners <br />concerned but without success. <br />The City Attorney'also suggested that sidewalks along James Street west of the school would <br />be desirable. <br />G. W. Bishop applied for plumber's license and it was granted upon motion of Councilman <br />McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Hinman. <br />The City Attorney presented a deed executed by ITary T. Casaretto and Joseph Casaretto, her <br />husband, granting to the City portion of Lot 29 in Finger Park Tract, for the extension <br />of War:vick Street, and Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dusel, offered the <br />follrnving Resolution accepting the deed and the Clerk instructed to have it recorded: <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the <br />hereunto annexed deed, dated the 8th day of December, 1930, and made <br />between MARY T. CASARETTO and JOSEPH CASARETTO, her husband, first <br />patties, and the CITY OF REDMOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the <br />State of California, second party, be and the same is hereby accepted <br />by the City of Redwood City and the Clerk of this Council is hereby <br />ordered to have the same recorded in the office of the County Recorder <br />of the County of San Mateo, State of California. <br />I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and <br />regularly passed and adopted by the. Council of the City of Redwood City <br />at a regular adjourned meeting thereof held on the 8th day of December, <br />1930, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing resolution, <br />Councilmen: IV J Dusel, C J Hildebrant, E B Hinman, P A McCarthy, G TI YoVulty, <br />D R Stafford. <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing resolution, <br />Councilmen: NONE. <br />Absent: Councilmen: H.
