<br />doing the work and making the improvements ordered herein. Said City
<br />Clerk is also ordered and directed to publish a notice inviting such
<br />sealed proposald or bids and referring to the plans, profiles, detailed
<br />drawings and specifications posted or on file for the period required
<br />by law in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily newspaper of general cir-

<br />The City Attorney submitted affidavits of posting notices to destroy weeds, Resolution
<br />of intention N-4, and the affidavits were ordered filed upon motion of Councilman
<br />McCarthy, seconded by Councilman McNulty. Following this, Councilman McNulty,
<br />seconded by Councilman Hildebrant, offered the following resolution requiring
<br />abatement of nuisance (weeds) Resolution of Intention N-4:
<br />RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE ABATEMENT OF NUiBANCE
<br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did, on the
<br />23rd day of March, 1931, pass and adopt Resolution Declaring Nuisance
<br />No. N-4, in which Resolution it was declared that noxious or dangerous
<br />weeds were growing upon all the streets, avenues, roads, boulevards,
<br />highways and sidewalks in said City of Redwood City, which weeds are of a
<br />kind which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and will attain such
<br />large growth as to become a fire menace when dry, and that said weeds
<br />constitute a public nuisance.
