RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK ON N-2
<br />RESOLVED, THAT WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City
<br />did, on the 16th day of warch, 1931, pass and adopt Resolution of inten-�
<br />tion No. N-2 to order the hereinafter described work to be done and
<br />improvements to be made in said City of Redwood City; and
<br />,MREAS notices of the passage of said Resolution of intention
<br />No. N-2, headed ANOTICE OF ILiPROVF,lrMIT", wero duly and regularly posted
<br />along the line of said contemplated work and improvements and in front
<br />of all the property liable to be assessed therefor, and on all of the
<br />streets in the district to be assessed therefor, in time, form, manner
<br />and number as required by law, as appears from the affidavits of C.L.
<br />Dimmitt, Superintendent of Streets of the City of Redwood City, and Lisle
<br />;linter, F. Stickle and C. White, and n= on file in the office of the
<br />Clerk of said City; and
<br />WHEREAS, it appears from the affidavits of said C.L. Dimmitt and
<br />Lisle Winter, F. Stickle and C. White, hereinbefore referred to herein,
<br />that the posting of, said notices of improvement as aforesaid was com-
<br />pleted on the 24th day of March, 1931, and
<br />WHEREAS, in and by said Resolution of intention No. N-2 and the
<br />notices of the passage thereof posted as aforesaid, said Council of the
<br />City of Redwood City fixed Monday, the 6th day of April, 1931, at the
<br />hour of 8:00 otcloch p.m. of said day, at the meeting place of said Coun-
<br />cil, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall on Webster Street in said
<br />City of Redwood City, County of San hmteo, State of California, as the
<br />day, hour and place when and where any and all persons having any objec-
<br />tions to the proposed work and improvements described in said Resolution
<br />of intention No. N-2, or to the district to be assessed for said wort:
<br />and improvements, or to the proposed grades at which said work and im-
<br />provements are to be dole and made, could appear before said Council
<br />and shorn cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be
<br />carried olit in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 11-2,
<br />or why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried out
<br />and done at the proposed grades as shown on the plans, pfofiles, detailed
<br />drawings and specifications referred to in said Resolution of Intention
<br />No. N-2 and now on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood
<br />City; and
<br />WHEREAS, at the day, hour and place aforesaid, when and where
<br />any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and im-
<br />provements described in said Resolution of intention No. 11-2, or having
<br />any objections to the district to be assessed therefor, or having any
<br />objections to the proposed grades at whish said work and improvements
<br />are to be done and made, could appear before the Council of said City of
<br />Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and improvements
<br />should not be carried out in accordance with Resolution of intention No.
<br />N-2, or why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried
<br />out and done at the proposed grades as shown on the plans, profiles,
<br />detailed drawings and specifications referred to in said Resolution of
<br />Intention No. N-2 and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said
<br />City of Redwood City, no person or persons appeared and no objections of
<br />any kind were made against said work and improvements described in said
<br />Resolution of intention No. N-2 or to the extent of the district to be
<br />assessed therefor, or against the grades at which said work and improve-
<br />ments are to be done and made, and said Council now having acquired juris-
<br />diction to order said work and improvements;
<br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the public interest and convenience
<br />require the work and improvements herein described, and the Council of
<br />the City of Redwood City hereby orders the following work to be done and
<br />improvements to be made in said City of lledwocd City, to -wit:
