<br />preceding the date of the maturity of each of the several series of bonds
<br />issued, and such proportion of each assessment coming due in any year,
<br />together with the annual interest thereon, shall in turn be payable in
<br />installments as the general taxes of the city on real property are pay-
<br />able, and shall become delinquent at the same time and in the same
<br />proportionate amounts and bear the same proportionate penalties for
<br />delinquency. Said bonds shall be signed by the Treasurer of acid City
<br />of Redwood City and be countersigned by the Clerk of said city, who shall
<br />affix thereto the corporate seal of said city:, The interest coupons
<br />attached to said bonds shall be signed.by the Treasurer of said City, or
<br />bear his engraved, printed or lithographed signature, and such signing
<br />and sealing of said bonds by said officers, and the signing of said
<br />coupons by said Treasurer, shall constitute and be a•bindisig execution
<br />of each and every one of said bonds and all of said coupons thereof,
<br />respectively. Said bonds shall be substantially in the form.set forth
<br />in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915" of the State of California, as
<br />amended and now in effect. The interest coupons attached to said bonds
<br />and evidencing the interest to accrue and become due thereon shall be
<br />numbered consecutively, beginning with the number 'one", inclusive and
<br />shall be subotantially in the following form, to wit:

<br />The City of Redwood City, California, will pay to the bearer

<br />Said bonds shall forthwith be delivered to the Contractor in
<br />satisfaction of the balance due upon the assessment and warrant.
<br />I hereby-oertify that the foregoing order and resolution was
<br />duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of
<br />Redwood C#y at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of April,
<br />1931, by the following vote:

<br />The City Attorney presented affidavit for publication of ordinance providing for special
<br />meetings of the Council and upon motion of Coundilman Hildebrant, seconded by
<br />Councilman McNulty, the affidavit was ordered filed. Whereupon, Councilman
<br />Hildebrant, seconded by Councilman Bseger, moved that this Ordinance No. 324 be
<br />adopted. For complete text see Ordinance Book No. 3, page 140.
<br />The City Attorney presented affidavits for posting and publishing notice calling for bids
<br />under Resolution of Intention No. N-2 (Extension of 'niaxn Street), which were ordered
<br />filed, upon vpbtion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Hildebrant. This
<br />being the time set for opening of bids they were publicly opened, examined and
<br />declared with the follower; result:
