11 <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 201 1932 <br />8:00 P M <br />Upon roll call, the following Councilmen were present: Mayor Wm J Dusel, H A Beeger, _ <br />1 <br />i <br />C G Lambert, Robert Jones, Geo W McNulty. Absent: Councilmen Paul A McCarthy, C J <br />Hildebrant. City Clerk B E Myers. <br />In the absence of the Clerk, H. A. Beeger was appointed Clerk pro—tem upon motion of Councilman i <br />Lambert, seconded by Councilman Jones. <br />The minutes of the meeting of June 6th were approved, on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded <br />by Councilman Jones. i <br />i <br />Irene Lagorio of 451 Harrison Street requested the privilege of extending her license to operate <br />a candy wagon to include territory surrounding and adjacent to the Yacht Harbor. On motion ' <br />of Councilman Beeger, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the permit was granted revocable at <br />any time. <br />A petition was received signed by Charles A. Haufe, Marie A: Haufe, Walter T. Noble, L.F. Bourquin, <br />representing property owners in Carmelita Manor in which they requested that sanitary sewers <br />be constructed to serve the property in that tract. On motion of Councilman Beeger, seconded i <br />by Councilman McNulty, the Engineer and City Attorney were instructed to prepare the necessary <br />plans and specifications. i <br />i <br />A request was received from the Menlo Park Community Club requesting permission to conduct dances ' <br />in the Foresters' Hall beginning with July 2nd and running on indefinitely. On motion of <br />Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Lambert, a permit was granted the Club to hold a { <br />dance on July 2nd, 1932, to run to 1:00 a.m., and the matter of further permits.was referred �I <br />to the Chief of Police for investigation and report. <br />Wm. Jamieson appeared before the Council to object to a $50 plumbing license and after some <br />discussion the matter was laid over until the next meeting. j <br />The approved claims were ordered paid, on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman <br />Lambert. <br />The City Manager brought up for discussion the question of garbage disposal but this matter was �! <br />f <br />also laid over until the next meeting. <br />I I <br />Clerk ProoLtem � <br />D <br />I <br />
