<br />Regular meeting of the City Council held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Councilmen, Mayor H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Morning, D.R.
<br />Stafford, G.W.McNulty, E.M.Dearborn, City Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of meetings held March 4th and 11th, 1929, were read and on motion of Coun-
<br />cilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn said minutes be approved as read.*
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Application of the Redwood City Promotion Assn for a permit to give a dance inthe
<br />April 13th,1929.
<br />Parish house on Clinton St,/until 1 o'clock, was motion of Councilman Thorning,seconded by
<br />Councilman McNulty, said permit be granted. Motion carried.
<br />Communicationfrom Redwood City Promotion Assn regarding the need of control sig-

<br />atithe intersection of Five Points, and Broadway at El Camino Real, was on motion of
<br />Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman McNulty, same be received and filed.

<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Co, for a permit to Three (3) poles on
<br />Cleveland Street, also application a pole Rogers St west of Warren St,and replace a pole
<br />on Rogers St opp Warren St, as per Blue prints Noes. 1609-R, and 1610-R, was on motion of
<br />Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn said permits be granted,
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Communication from the City Attorney of the City of Fresno, regarding the main-
<br />taining, reparing, or reconstruvtion of the public highway within the City limits; and
<br />referring to Assembly bill No. 834, was on motion of Councilman' Dearborn, seconded by

<br />Councilman McNulty same be received. Motion carried.

<br />lateral across Broadway 125 east of Main Street, on Broadway extension, was on motion of {
<br />Councilman Dearborn seconded by Councilman McNulty, said permit be granted,Motibn carried.

<br />they desire to place over their existing subway. was on motion of Councilman Dearborn,
