<br />Regular adjourned meeting of the City Council held,
<br />Upon roll call there were present Councilmen Mayor H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, D.R.
<br />Stafford, G.W.McNulty, E.M.Dearborn, City Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />On motion of Councilman X0ulty, seconded by Councilman Dearborn minutes of meeting
<br />held March 4th, 1929, be despensea with until next regular meeting, Motion carried.

<br />Mr E.A.Parr appeared before the Council in regards to the numbering of residences on
<br />the price to be 50 cents per residence,
<br />the curb, was on motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the matter
<br />be referred to the Chairman of the Street Committee, and Supt of Streets, Motion carried.
<br />Mr Hind appeared before the Council in regards tb subdividing and building on bots,
<br />N.E.
<br />� 31 and 32, Block 15, Central Park, situated at the corner of Sing and James Streets, was on
<br />motion of Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman McNulty, 'same be referred to the Plan-
<br />ning Commission, and the City Council meet with said Planning Commission in joint session
<br />in regards to said matter. Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman McNulty the matter of the
<br />City Pound, in regards to the destroying of animals was referred to Councilman Thorning,
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Communication from the Pacific Coast Building Officiald Conference, regarding the
<br />Uniform Building Code, was on motion of Coundilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman McNulty,
<br />said communication be referred to the Building Inspector. Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Councilman Stafford, seconded by Councilman Dearborn, the Clerk be
<br />' instructed to write State Senator Geo C. Cleveland, and Assemblymah H.L.Parkman that the
<br />Council was opposed to Assembly Constitutional Amendment No, 2, asking them to do what
<br />they could to defeat this bill, Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Councilman Thorning, seconded by Councilman Me Nulty, that Mayor Beeger
<br />appoint a committee to confer with the American Legion and other organizations in regards
<br />to naming a house committee in taking care of the nlubhouse situated in Mezes Plaza, the
<br />Mayor appointed Councilman Stafford,-t.otrepresent the Council. Motion carried.

<br />a Councilman Stafford offers Ordinance No. 2949 (An ordinance. calling a special ele-
<br />ction in the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, for the pur-
<br />pose of submitting and submitting to the qualified voters of said Town the proposition to
<br />incur a bonded indebtedness to pay the cost of certain municipal improvements in and for
<br />said Town, the cost of which will be too great to pay out of the ordinary annual income and
<br />revenue of said Town, and also submitting to the quality voters of said Town of Redwood
<br />Citythe proposition of whether the charter proposed by the Board of T�fteen freeholders

<br />elected by the voters of said Town of Redwood City on the 15th day of November, 1928,and
<br />which said proposedcharterwas filed in the office of the Town Clerk of said Town of Red-
<br />wood Cityon the 7th day of February, 19299 shall be approved by the quality voters of
<br />said Town,) and moves its adoption, Councilman McNulty, seconds the motion. said Ordinance
<br />is entered in Ordinance Book No.39 of the Town of Redwood City on page
<br />Motion carried.
