Ni <br />,a <br />permission to leave the State on his vacation. <br />On motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Jones, Councilman Eva was given per- <br />mission to leave the State. <br />The departmental reports were ordered filed. <br />' The approved claims were ordered aid on motion of Councilman McNult seconded b Councilman <br />� PP P Y, Y <br />Jones. <br />Adjournment. <br />BEM: MR <br />MINUTES Or REGULAR MEETING <br />REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 17, 1935 <br />8:00 P.M. <br />City Clerk <br />ffm <br />Upon roll call, the following Councilmen were present: Mayor, C. G. Lambert, E. A. Fletcher, <br />R. N. Jones, L. C. Christensen, P. A. McCarthy, J. M. Eva, Geo. W. McNulty. Absent: City <br />Clerk, B. E. Myers. <br />The minutes of the meeting of June 3, 1935, wereL approved on motion of Councilman Christensen, <br />seconded by Councilmen McNulty. <br />Mr, George Odgen addressed the Council and filed a written complaint against the Building <br />Inspector, Mr. Drathman replied and, the matter was referred to the City Manager for a <br />written report at the next meeting. <br />Mr. Seeley addressed the Council about the fortune telling matter of Rev. Sam Wood on Finger <br />Avenue. Upon motion of Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Eva, the County <br />Grand Jury was requested to look into the operations of Mr. Wood. <br />Mr. John D. Wilson of Toyon Knolls requested water upon his tract of land south of Emerald <br />Lake District. His request was granted, connection to be made undar the direction of the <br />City Manager and the City Engineer, with the proviso that there was no capital outlay on <br />behalf of the city and that in case of a shortage of water, the city could at any times but <br />off this supply. <br />Mr. C. H. Holt also requested water connections outside the city along Cordilleras Road. Upon <br />motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, his request was granted with <br />the understanding that if there was a shortage of water the city could cut off this : ' <br />connection. <br />Mr. Holt also spoke on the extension of Rogers Street to the Bayshore Highway and the matter <br />4 <br />was continued until the next meeting awaiting a report from the Planning Commission. <br />Upon motion of Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman McNulty, and carried, a resolution was <br />7 <br />adopted providing for an arterial stop sign at Birch and Broadway streets. <br />r <br />61 <br />
