Councilman Jones, seconded by Councilman McNulty, proposed the <br />adoption of resolution authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to enter into such <br />an agreement with the Pacific Gas & Electric Company. Kalenborn, representing the Library Board of Trustees, explained the need for <br />P <br />alteration and further equipment in the basement of the library and perhaps the pay- <br />ment of a part-time librarian in order to take care of the increased demand for service. <br />On motion of Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, the City Manager was <br />authorized to include in the next year's budget for"the library an extra $2,000 for <br />this purpose.
