M. <br />A regular adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Redwood City was held on the 26th <br />day of October, 1936. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Paul A. McCarthy and upon <br />roll call the following members answered present: Councilmen L. C. Christensen, J. M. <br />Eva, E. A. Fletcher, Wm. Hohn, R. N. Jones, G. W. McNulty and Paul A. McCarthy. <br />The following members were absent: None. <br />After discussion of the offer of the United States of America to aid by way of grant in finan- <br />cing the construction of Harbor facilities, including acquisition of necessary lard, <br />the following resolution entitled "Resolution Accepting the Offer of the United States <br />to the City of Redwood City to Aid by Play of Grant in Financing the Construction of <br />Harbor Facilities, Including Acquisition of Necessary Land" was proposed by Councilman <br />Eva and read in full. <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF THE UNITED STATES TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO AID <br />BY WAY OF GRANT IN FINANCING THE CONSTRUCTION OF HARBOR FACILITIES, INCLUDING ACQUISITION <br />OF NECESSARY LAND. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City: <br />Section 1.
