<br />the Council regarding the fuel to be used in the laundry business, some objection having
<br />arisen concerning the use of oil burning equipment. It was informally decided to instruct
<br />the Building Inspector to,permit the installation to proceed but with the understanding
<br />that there be no smoke nuisance from the oil burning equipment.
<br />It was decided, on motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Eva, to contribute
<br />$10.00 toward the 30th Annual Christmas Seal sale of the San Mateo County Tuberculosis
<br />and Health Association.

<br />Edward T. Harrison, for the First National Bank, in a letter to the Council requested that the
<br />funds of 1915 Act Bonds, Series M-2, M -S and M-129 now in the hands of the Treasurer, be
<br />disbursed to the First National Bank, which institution holds all of the bonds of these
<br />three series. The letter was ordered filed, on motion of Councilman Eva, seconded by
<br />Councilman Fletcher, Councilman McNulty voting °N0°.
<br />Following the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, Councilman Eva, seconded by
<br />Councilman McNulty, proposed the introduction of Ordinance amending Section 3 of Ordinance
<br />No. 251 pertaining to various zoning restrictions in the first and second residential dis-
<br />tricts and more particularly to the location of private schools. Carried.
<br />Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Eva, proposed the introduction of a resolution
<br />setting forth the policy of the City Council concerning annexation of property adjacent to
<br />the commercial harbor site. Carried.
<br />Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Jones, proposed resolution and moved its adoption
<br />authorizing and directing the sale of $200,000 principal amount of City of Redwood City
<br />Harbor Improvement Bonds of 1936, Series A. with instructions to the City Clerk to mail
<br />notice to interested bidders. Carried.
