11 <br />MINUTES Or REGULAIR ADJOURNED MEETING <br />REDWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER'239 1936 <br />B o'clock p.m. <br />Upon roll call, the following Councilmen were present: Mayor, Paul A. McCarthy, L. C. <br />Christensen, J. M. Eva, E. A. Fletcher, R. N. Jones, G. A. McNulty and City Clerk, <br />B. E. Myers. Absent: Councilman Wm. Rohn. <br />The minutes of the meetings of December 7 and December 14, 1936, were approved, on motion <br />of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by Councilman Christensen. <br />It was decided to put over any discussion of Civil Service program for Redwood City until <br />the meeting of January 4. <br />City Clerk, B. E. Myers, was excused, and on motion of Councilman Christensen, seconded by <br />Councilman Fletcher, Councilman Eva was chosen to serve as Clerk pro tem. <br />Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Christensen, proposed the adoption of resolution, <br />as follows: <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood'City that the <br />i Government of the United States be and it is hereby assured that the City <br />of Redwood City will construct the port facilities along the plans that were <br />approved by the Chief of Engineers and as required by the project which is <br />Federal Works Project No. 1445-D Public Works Administration. <br />C <br />C <br />Unanimously carried. <br />On motion of Councilman Pletcher, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the Council adjourned to <br />S o'clock p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 1936. <br />BEM: MR <br />Wll� <br />City Clerk pro tem <br />253 <br />
