McCarthy, Councilmen L. C. Christensen, J. M. Eva, E. A. Fletcher, Wm. Rohn, <br />R. N. Jones, G. W. McNulty and City Clerk, B. E. Myers. Absent: None. <br />f C E Councilman Fletc <br />Councilman Eva, seconded by der, proposed the adoption of resolutions <br />i <br />accepting the Deeds to certain property as specified below: <br />!G Deed•. from Peter tum Sudan as Executor., to City of. Redwood City, dated <br />i February 23, 1937, conveying Lot 3, Redwood City Harbor Company Lands. <br />Deed from Joseph C. Atwood as Executor, to City of Redwood.City, dated <br />February 23, 1937, conveying Lot 3, Redwood City Harbor Company Lands. <br />Deed from George A. Merrill and Sarah E: Merrill, his wife., to City-of' <br />ityof <br />- Redwood City, dated January 8, 1937, conveying Lot 5, Redwood City Harbor <br />j Company Lands. <br />I <br />Deed from Lilian A. Rolph to City -of Redwood City, dated January 8, 1937, <br />conveying Lot 4, Redwood City Harbor Company Lands. <br />Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Eva, proposed that the City Treasurer be <br />authorized to pay to Carleton Hyde, of Mason Bros., an additional five points for bonds, <br />Nos. 33 and 34, of Series J-13, which had been originally bought from him at 95 flat. <br />Carried. <br />Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, moved that the City Manager be requested <br />to write immediately to the members of the Senate and the House, from California, <br />requesting that support be given to H4215, or other legislation which is desired to <br />exempt public deposits from the provisions of the Federal law applying to interest <br />paid by banks to municipalities. <br />Adjournment. <br />BEM:MR <br />i � <br />City Clerk <br />275 <br />
