11 <br />1 <br />C <br />On motion of Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman McNulty, the City Manager was authorized <br />to advertise for bids to be received at his office before 2 P. M. November 15, 19371 <br />for the construction of an asphaltic Oil Macadam wearing surface on Harbor Boulevard, <br />at an estimated cost of $14,000, said cost to be paid as per agreement with San <br />Mateo County. <br />The City Manager presented the request of Mr. Bosshardt, Whipple Road, Emerald Lake, <br />Marine Department Personnel, Standard Oil Co. that he be allowed the use of the <br />Yacht Club House two evenings a week for the purpose of training young men for <br />service in the Merchant Marine; also that he be allowed free berth rent for the <br />boat he would use on Saturday and Sunday for cruises. The Manager was informed <br />that it would be satisfactory to allow the use of the Club House for the purpose <br />mentioned, but that it did not seem desirable to allow the free use of the berth <br />space. <br />The City Manager presented the claim of Ivor C. Sharp, 445 Bus St., San Francisco, for <br />$11.75 representing the estimated cost of repairing Mr. Sharp's Packard Sedan <br />damaged by a tree at the side of Arguello Street, where Mr. Sharp had parked his <br />car. The Manager was told to arrange to make payment. <br />Departmental reports were ordered filed, approved claims paid, on motion of Councilman <br />McNulty, seconded by Councilman Eva. <br />On motion of Councilman Pletcher, seconded by Councilman Hohn, the Council adjourned <br />until 7:30 Monday night, November g, 1937. <br />BEM:HAS <br />City Clerk <br />3�9 <br />
