In the same connection it was decided, on motion of
Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Eva, to avoid parking on this
area for longer than two hours, to erect an appropriate sign indicating a rental
of $1.00 per hour would be4charged for all time over two hours; Mr. Rohn, how-
ever, voting °N0°.
The City Attorney explained that he would have a trailer ordinance ready for the next
meeting.
Councilman Eva, seconded by Councilman Jones, proposed the adoption of three resolutions
accepting Quit Claim Deeds from Geo. R. and Lillie Richard; Eugene W. and Bessie
Beatty Roland, and Thos. N. and Caroline N. Gesso. Carried.
Councilman Eva announced that the committee was ready to make public the list of lots
which the City had taken over and proposed that the list be given to the realtors
who had assisted the committee in appraising the lots but that the courtesy should
not be extended to any dealers who had failed to cooperate. Some councilmen
differed with him on this, and on motion of Councilman Fletcher, seconded by
Councilman Christensen, it was moved that a list be given to the group indicated,
but that any dealer who would work up a sale for a lot would be entitled to the
regular commission. The motion was lost, there being two °Ayes° only.
Also in connection with the handling of the lots taken over by the City, the Council,
on motion of Councilman Jones, seconded by Councilman McNulty, authorized the
1915 Act Committee to negotiate with San Mateo County officials, the Tax
Collector, and Supervisors, in an effort to have county delinquent taxes re-
duced wherever possible.
The approved claims were ordered paid on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by
Councilman Fletcher.
Adjournment.
BEM:HAS
City Cler
'.349
